One of our favorite weekend get-a-way places is Queretaro, Centro Historico and we now have 2 hotels that are top of our list. "La Hija del Alfarero" could not have been better. I think the owners read their TripAdvisor reviews and then act on suggestions by past guests as we found new pillows, new bed, (incredibly comfortable king size) and...

La Hija del Alfarero is a nice surprise. It has great design and decoration touches, it is impeccably clean and the staff is warm, friendly and very helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean. Some of the mattresses are old and a bit lumpy and the pillows are not comfy either. The house works with a hydraulic pump system that...

This hotel is rated high in booking.com, I keep forgetting that their reviews are not as reliable as most of trip TripAdvisor's, thus I stayed here for one night without checking TripAdvisor. Their only good (not great) thing is the location, everything else is just average or less than average. There was a strong smell in the reception area to...

The service it's really good and the staff try the best to make your stay pleasant. It's not very close to the centre, but if you don't mind walking a few blocks, you are fine! I like the deco of the hotel, though the rooms need some update. We loved Queretaro, and this hotel it's a good alternative to see...

“We got a suite that had a small terrace, this was nice. There were two bathrooms and two beds One has to climb to the bathtub to get the shower. Please check this detail before you book, as if you have trouble with your knees or legs, this main bathroom is not for you. But check with the reservation staff. The other bathtub is easier to access. Good price, nice staff, good location.”
