Very friendly staff, room small but very well maintained and excellent rates. A/c, wifi, hairdryer, fan, and a great shower. Closeby many restaurants and coffeebars, European-like alley with lots of places. Everything is walking distance. Will be back.

Very often the location of a hotel in a city is the most important parameter for us. It is reasonable if you plan to stay in your hotel only at night and all the rest of the time discover the city. With Rio it was exactly the same case, the location of it is just perfect if you want to...

First, it was Dec.and very cold! The pool was almost jacuzzi warmth and we loved being in it while the wind howled around us. Yes, spotlessly clean, incredible staff but night watch was rude. Perhaps a bad day? All others were flawless and so helpful. Parking was directly in front and gratis. A bar and Mx. Food restaurant attached which...

This is a spotlessly clean, moderately priced, comfortable hotel with rooms around a courtyard. You are isolated from traffic noise, but close to the heart of this charming city. What made it outstanding was the friendly helpful staff...room cleaners, front desk, cooks and breakfast server...all outstanding! The restaurants in the walkway next to the hotel are very good too!

The hotel has a nice old architecture, the room has a normal size, but a small bathroom. There is no control with travel agencies, we had reserved a king size bed and a normal 2 person bedroom and we got 2 normal 2 person bedrooms, because all others were occupied. At night there was a lot of noise from the...

Excellent service from Hector! Great location, comfy beds and the shower was relaxing. Lots of water pressure. AC on rooms (we did not needed it). No elevator but rooms are always available on the first floor. We stayed in a bigger room on the third floor and had no issues getting up there. Continental Breakfast was included. The hotel bar...

Hotel Rio is situated right in the historic centre-do get specific directions for taxi drivers from bus station as not all drivers know -we had a couple of drivers who didn't know where it was!! -Hotel Rio at the end of 16 September street- in a cul de sac Guadelupe Victoria just off by the square. The beautiful square is...
