This is a much delayed review but we just couldn't forget to review our lovely stay at the City Lights Inn! We stayed two nights in the Studio room for a fall Ithaca wedding. The room was cozy, well-maintained, and clean. Collin and Aaron are terrific hosts--they are friendly and have great suggestions for Ithaca activities if you're new to...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights over Columbus Day weekend, and I fell in love with the Inn. It's set on a hill overlooking Ithaca with an incredible view of the skyline. The house itself is quirky and charming. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the brothers who run the Inn are so welcoming. I can't say...

My wife and I have nothing but good things to say about this B&B. The bed and breakfast is located on an old farm on top of a large hill that overlooks Ithica. The rooms are renovated areas of the original farmhouse. The location is very convenient to the main sites in Ithica and the view on the hilltop is...

A true "Diamond in the Rough" B&B; our first impression was not the greatest; but, once we entered our room we were more than pleasantly surprised. The innkeepers reminded us of the "Property Brothers" on HGTV; a personable set of twin brothers who have created a wonderful stay just outside of Ithaca. The experience of eating in the kitchen; socializing...

I was very impressed with this Inn. The location was amazing and so picturesque. The room I stayed in was truly spectacular. More than I expected. The breakfasts were fantastic The hosts were so accommodating and helpful. I was traveling alone but felt extremely safe and welcomed there. I will absolutely be back there again.

We stayed two nights recently at this lovely B&B with a nice setting on the Western ridge overlooking Ithaca, NY (but only minutes from downtown). Our suite was lovely, not overly furnished as some B&B accommodations tend to be, with everything in tip-top condition, including a much-firmer-than-average bed -- a very desirable feature in our case. The best part, though,...

I stayed here while watching sports car racing in Watkins Glen. It's only 35 minutes from WG on one of the nicest driver's road I've driven on (sports car owners take note!). It's also only minutes away from Ithaca. It really is the country, as I was serenaded at night and woke to the song of Robins, Song Sparrows, Cardinals,...

Lots of folks use "cozy" to describe places, and it certainly applies to this B&B. The interconnected rooms have been updated recently, and each area has a separate outside entrance and bath. Aaron and his brother are young and enthusiastic owners, and they went out of their way to see that our stay was great. This is a great location...

We stayed at City Lights Inn while we were in Ithaca for a family wedding. It turned out to be just right. The location on a hillside just outside of town provided a great view of Ithaca with the peace of a country setting. These guys are doing things right. Improvements have made the rooms quite comfortable but they have...

“We stayed in "Granny's Room". There is no en-suite bathroom but the way the house is set up we had the floor to ourselves, so our bathroom was just down the hall. The room has a queen sized bed, so comfortable for a couple. There's a great view from the room, so I witnessed a beautiful sunrise one morning.”
