I stayed one nite while I was on a long layover at JFK Airport. This hotel is newly opened and well kept. I was able to book a Queen Suite using a low amount of Choice Privledges points, and I was more than impressed. Our suite is HUGE, clean, wonderfully appointed. The room has a large kitchenette, 2 full bathrooms, and an extra large living room. Breakfast in the AM 6-9 is included and front desk service is good. The room feels much more upscale than a typical Comfort Inn type hotel suite. Excellent value and greatly exceeded expectations. I highly reccomend these suites.
We booked this hotel at the last moment, and it was really a bad experience. There is hardly any parking space available by the Hotel, and it is a must to park on the street, with Owner's risk. Real bad experience was with breakfast. The end time is 9 am. We went there well in time on first day, but many items were finished ! As I requested for supply, the only staff lady, just glanced at the counter and went inside. never returned. We managed with whatever was available. Next day, we were there by 8.35 am and basic items such as bread, coffee, fruits were finished. Staff lady there, brought coffee after 10 minutes and as I requested her to get other items, she replied, " We close at 9" . I was surprised as it was 8.50, by then. I tried to bring to her notice that there was still some time and the items have not been there from 8.35. To this she arrogantly replied, " You are not supposed to argue with staff " !! This was my first stay of first visit to her country and she created such a bad impression.…
I recently stayed in this hotel because I missed my flight and I needed a place to stay close to the airport. The front office staff service was very bad, not helpful at all, specially the receptionist in the morning, she was acting like she was doing a favor to me when I was checking out or asking something. The room was clean, the buffet in the morning was not good.
This place is a Terrible dump. There is very little Parking anywhere and they do not care. There are a lot of illegal activities in the front of the hotel. They constantly have police presence out front dealing with those issues. Very scary.
This is a very nice clean hotel, fairly close to JFK but you still need a taxi. The main problem here is the location. Its pretty dead. I understand there are some restaurants but we only found one and I would not go there!! There is a local 'supermarket' where you can get some food so it would be nice to have better access to cooking facilities (at least a micro-wave). However, if all you need is an over-night stay and back to the airport, its a reasonably cheap alternative.
