Avoid if you can. I'm an IHG Spire Elite member and I had an orrible night because of rude guests near my room that were shouting and loudly laughing until 4am. I called front desk almost at 2am to ask for security to stop them, but nothing changed. I did the same six times in the morning around 11 am but they were not answering the phone until they did, but I think the noise stopped just because guests checked out. I agree with other reviews, Staff appears always in a hurry and act like every thing is extremely inconveniencing them, If you want to enquire for a shuttle pick-up even from jfk airport, when I called the hotel directly no one answerd the first time. I had to call three times and it was everything so slow that I paid for a taxi. Bad overall experience.

I prefer staying at IHG properties because their level of commitment to helping guests is far greater than any of the chains they compete with in the USA (looking at you @Marriott). My stay at the Crowne Plaza JFK prior to an early morning flight proved the rule. Shanna at the front desk went out of her way to help me with some printing of documents even at a very late hour. Just another reason to stick with the IHG team. Thank you!

I left my car for 5 days. Upon arrival ay midnight my car was totally covered in snow. The valet said he couldn't help because he needed to do more pick ups. The front desk agent grabbed a Swift mop for floors and started scraping the snow out of my car. This resulted in my windshield all scratched. It's been two weeks and no follow up whatsoever. Eugene, the valet manager says he is not getting all my 4 emails so until then he cannot help. I'm posting this here so maybe he sees it. The hotel blames Prolink the third party company IHG hired for valet services. Just called again and front desk manager Francis repeated the whole "the hotel has nothing to do with this" speech. Eugene is missing in action. The lack of customer service and follow up is out of this world! I world in hotels for 20 years..... never seen anything like this. You generally own the problem and fix it while following up.

I had to stay here for work travel. Let me start with the good news, the first day my check in was great and the desk manager was kind & helpful. The rest of the interactions I had with the front desk were more than unprofessional and rude. A couple nights ago I couldn't find parking in the lot and came in to ask for help or recommendation on parking close by as I am not from around here, the response I got was "not my problem "... meanwhile he had no problem helping the group of partiers in front of me who had also parked right in front of me in a no parking zone with no problems, after me demanding assistance he huffed and puffed and decided he could come check to see if I was parked in an acceptable location. I was clearly an inconvenience, mind you there were no other guests in the lobby needing help. Next night I had been to the gym ( I had been the night before with no issues), which during the pandemic they claim to be very clean - well there was sexual excretions all over the mirror with handprints that was definitely not there the night before, but I understand staff cannot control the guests; however why are places not being cleaned daily? Then the best part, after some snow had fallen, the plow pushed all of the snow in front and around my car which then hardened to chunks of ice, and not to mention it was only my vehicle this happened to?? I go in to the front desk to ask for help or guidance and she responds with " not my problem". Is there anything that the staff considers to be "their problem?" It was then after me shoveling for 30+ minutes and breaking ice chunks with their broken shovel that was available to use but wasn't even mentioned to me from the "helpful" front desk staff- that I decided to call guest services and then all of a sudden she was more than happy to help and get someone available to make it their problem. Finally one of the staff members that had watched me do all of this shoveling decided to help once the ground manager arrived. I am absolutely appalled and have NEVER had such rude service EVER and travel often. Seems to be the only solution they have is "not my problem" and I mean they literally said that and continued to be rude. Not even helpful, no assistance, nothing until you call guest services with the complaint. Absolutely baffled with the services provided here and the attitude from the so called front desk on duty managers who should definitely not speak to their guests in such a despicable manner. Would it be acceptable for me to say "not my problem" that my payment won't go through? Yeah, didn't think so. I will NOT be returning to this place ever and highly recommend that you as a reviewer consider this as well, save yourself the hassle and money.
