Upon arrival we were greeted by Tim, the owner. The Creek House is a separate, single residence looking out at a lovely creek in the rear. There are several rooms with at least four beds, a kitchenette, and a kitchen table with seating also for four. Everything was spotless and there were many amenities (fruit, sweets, drinks, cereal, etc.). The rooms were quiet, well heated, and very comfortable. TV also provided. Next door to a large market. We loved our stay and highly recommend it.
We made our reservation sight unseen and can't believe our luck! The Creek House at the Samba Inn was all we were hoping for and more. It really was the perfect place to stay; privacy, atmosphere - including a backyard with fire pit and a creek for relaxing by and listening to at night to lull you to sleep - comfort and amenities - a perfectly stocked kitchenette and bathroom as well as pastries and breakfast items along with a refrigerator stocked with drinks. The town of Jeffersonville was quaint, friendly and had, in addition to the Samba Inn, a nice selection of eating establishments within walking distance. Most impressive were the hosts Tim, Andrea and Lauren - a great family who offered hospitality and directions (a great shortcut to Bethel Woods), information about the area, great concern about our comfort and enjoyment of our weekend in the Catskills. Did I mention hospitality?! - thank you Tim and Andrea, we came as strangers and left feeling as if we had stayed with friends. We would stay no where else on our next trip to the area.…
We stayed here 10 years ago and loved our second stay just as much. The owner, Tim, is a doll and went out of his way to find me and my lost camera! Thank you Tim! My family and I will always look forward to a trip to the "Creek House".
We've stayed here 3 times already and will be returning. It's very family friendly. The Creek House is basically a cottage and worked out great for us. The Deck House is smaller but still very nice. Both have refrigerators and microwaves. Tim and Andrea are very friendly and accommodating and they run a nice restaurant as well with eclectic dishes. I almost hesitated to add this review since I didn't want to give away our little secret place.
Went to Bethel Woods for a concert and stayed at Samba Inn for 3 days. Its a nice homely place, clean, and conveniently located 10 minutes away (back road) from Bethel Woods, so you will get to beat the traffic. Samba Inn really does look like the photos on their website with the creek in the back. There was a welcome plate of homemade pastries... was really yummy and a nice gesture after the drive up from NY city. The first night we couldn't sleep with the sound of the creek (which can be loud in the still of the night), but the 2nd and 3rd nights we didn't even hear it! Slept like a log I guess. Samba Inn is located next door to the village supermarket so its easy to pick up some stuff before they close at 7pm. We also had a meal at Samba Inn. The service is slow but the food is pretty good. I wish we had more meals here but our time took us out as the neighboring towns are 20 mins drive away.…
