Great place to stay for an early start hiking near Keene Valley. Comfortable beds and nice kitchenette in our suite, the Hurricane Suite, lots of space. Kettle downstairs good for boiling water to fill our thermos and water bottles. Relaxed atmosphere, nice dining room.

I was pleasantly surprised how nice this place was for an early morning hiker start. Typically we stay in crappy motels but this place is a LOT nicer - beautiful sitting room/dining room - lots of common areas to hang out with friends. We had the Hurricane suite which was huge - inner king bed, futon if you ask in...

This place is just superior. Breakfast were well balanced and delicious. The rooms very nice especially the fireplace and supplying the firewood. Very well kept and comfortable . Many rooms to use for entertainment and relaxation. Hats off to the owners, Susan and Dave.

Have not stayed here yet, though I plan to do so in the near future. But I had a very nice experience with this inn that I want to share. I had a problem with my reservation (on my end), and they straightened it out very graciously. So glad to work with people who are helpful and reasonable when they...

Stayed here while visiting family in the area and would love to go back. Our room was attractive, with a very comfortable bed, although some might find climbing in and out of the claw foot tub a bit daunting. Wonderful breakfasts with homemade baked treats. Just a terrific place to unwind and a perfect place for a family reunion if...

We keep returning to this bed and breakfast because there is a lot to like about it. It's clean, it has lots of locations where you can sit down and relax both outdoors and indoors, breakfasts far beyond the standard fare. Trails End has and idyllic location with hiking trails nearby and eating establishments within easy walking distance. We had...

My husband and I had been to Trail's End early in our marriage and this year we returned to celebrate my 60th birthday. Wow it just keeps getting better! We stayed in the Gothic Room and were absolutely delighted with the accommodations which included a king size bed, jacuzzi and fireplace as well as private entrance. I was impressed by...

If you're planning on running a marathon or a strenuous 20 mile hike or want to put on a lot of weight, then these breakfasts are for you. They are almost totally carbohydrates. A typical breakfast might be french toast with syrup, scones, a tiny glass of juice, a little fruit and 3 very small strips of bacon. Another day...

This individual was not happy even when she first arrived. She had booked a room with a claw foot tub and complained that it was hard to get in and out of. The tub was describe on the web site and for the room she booked, so there wasn’t anything that she didn’t know before she came. Her description of...

This is our second visit but this time as a couple and not family. We enjoyed our Porter room. King bed very comfortable. Love the cookies that await in the afternoon and evening. Breakfast was delicious. Inn was full while we were here and you see how very hard the inn keepers work. We would stay again and hope to...
