The sites were barely large enough for our tent and canopy as we practically shared a table with our neighbor. When asked if we could spread out until another group booked the stretch, the groundskeeper (a man with a white beard and glasses) was extraordinarily rude. He was disrespectful from the start, did not accommodate us, and when we asked...

This was our first visit to Riverview. We enjoyed our weeklong stay. We were provided with a pull-through site, with 50 amp service, plus water and sewer. The employees of the campground were very nice and very accommodating! They also keep the bathrooms and showers spotlessly clean. They are cleaned at least twice per day. The price was reasonable as...

Peace and quiet with a serene view was what we were looking for and found it here. We were fortunate to find an opening right on the river and were greeted every morning with a beautiful mist and a family of ducks :) Though it appears that it's a bit cramped it's not..the way the site is planned with a...

We just stayed at this resort and although it was small it was wonderful. It does not have all off the amenities that some of the larger ones have but everyone was super friendly, the staff was wonderful and the bathrooms were very clean. The pool was small but clean and the little beach on the river was perfect. We...

This campground has lots of different types of sites from full hook up to water/electric. Almost every site is on the Schroon River. The rates are comparable to other parks in the area. The owners Debbie and Mike are nice people. The own a larger park King Phillips closer to LG and just recently purchased River View. Mother nature has...

We stayed here over labor day weekend and the sites by the pool area are not camping friendly. We were told the road goes through our campsite and therefore could not put our chairs there. There is no road it's all grass these campsites were stuck any area there was room. Be careful where your site is. To compound this...

We came from Thursday to a Tuesday. We did a late checkin and the staff was frazzled from trees coming down from a storm that passed. They totally moved our camp site because they were having issues with size. Meanwhile our 5th wheel was bigger then the one they switched us with. Very cramped. Sites way to small all dirt...

We camped here with MH last month for a long weekend and was very pleased. Very friendly staff and good service. We stayed there a few years back with the prior owners and it was not so good. The present owners own another campground in the area and are making a lot of updates. It is a great location and...

Our family just returned from a three day weekend and had a very good time. We had 2 sites near each other in the center part of the campground. We were in sites 68 and 70 and had all the space we needed and were very comfortable. There is a pool, small arcade and playground for the children. The campgrounds...

just got back with my family and had friends staying right next to us. We got sites 100 and 99. if you can book these sites or any of the sites just past the beach do it. There is no space or privacy between sites. So liking your neighbors is key. I couldn't imagine staying in any other of the...

“There is a bit of road noise from rt 9, but it quiets down at night. There's a good drop from most of the sites along the edge to the water, but lots of access points along the way.”
