Let me start with a positive. The shower was pretty good. That's why I gave 1 star. The Bad: The hole in the floor that you feel when walking to the lukewarm mini fridgr that only had 3 legs. The threadbare towels. I use better towels to dry my car. I was disgusted by the towels that were given to us to try and use. The TV. Wanted to turn on a game while getting ready for dinner. Couldn't because the cable box was not working. The Smoke. Although it was a non smoking room the smoke from everyone smoking outside the room made its way in. I might have lung cancer now. Our upstairs neighbor. This one is not his fault since we actually didn't meet him. We thought we might as it sounded like he was coming through the floor and ceiling above. Although we paid for 2 nights we left after the first. I'll be reaching out to my cc company regarding a refund.

I was embarrassed to take my wife here and I did so because of the 4.5 rating. I don’t know who is really writing these reviews for this motel but they are not normal people. I kid you not when I say it was the last hotel available in town. If I have known, I would have stayed home. This is what you get here...loud music being played in the parking lot while people BBQ, such thin floors that you will hear the people upstairs seemingly run a marathon, the drama of a person almost getting taken (I kid you not), walls so thin that I could hear the two “service animal” pet goats baaaaaaaaa all through the night, no front desk person unless you call them to come to the front desk, and mostly the rooms that smell like they were smoked in all night before you got there even though no smoking is allowed in the rooms. That didn’t stop the goat people from smoking in the room. I can only imagine the review the next renter would give for that room with goat pellets and the cigarette smell. We kind of had an idea of what was going to be waiting for us so we brought along our own bed sheets and blankets. I can go on and on but I will end it with this old saying...I wouldn’t wish my worse enemy to stay here. Actually I would because it’s that bad.

This place gave us a great price and it fit so well into our budget. The room was nice and the pool, charcoal grills, and fire-pit were also very great additions. we were a little disappointed to find out the beach for this motel was closed the whole time we were there. I would stay here again, it was nice and quite and great for the price

We stayed 1 night and it was bad, no staff at desk on arrival, had to call a number and they came and checked you in. Room was old and musty smelling, has not been updated since 80s. Furniture was broke and no outlets near the bed. Couldn't even plug in the alarm clock they provided or the light by the bed to read. Carpet was old and grungy, there was a grasshopper in our room when we went in. Pool was green and closed but it is the off season so let that slide. Bathroom had some updates, new small corner shower stall that had a spider in it and cob webs. No hot water when I went to shower this morning so that really set me off so went to front desk and they don't open until 9, called the number on the door and woke up someone at 845 to tell them and they said sorry we will send someone over, I told them never mind I was leaving and was there a manager available and she said no but I could email the manager. I could also hear ppl upstairs walking around and ppl next to us. Someone was smoking pot near our room and you could smell it in our room. Only 2 pillows in the room. Only good thing was bed was comfortable. Would not recommend and will not stay there again. I am writing the manager to see if I get money back.

I found the room to be kind of on the small size. It might have been ok if it wasn’t such a dark room. Dark curtains, comforter and a very dark green carpet. Everything needs to be updated, very old. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was very clean. Pool area was great, nice and large with lots of seating. Great location in the village, you can walk almost everywhere.
