The Lake George Inn is probably a 3/average, but you can see the care ownership takes to keep it relevant and with that older charm of resort town motels from the 1960-70's, I gave it a 4/very good. The property was clean, and the amount of beautiful hanging flowers everywhere was wonderful. The girl at the front desk was great and informative letting us check in very early, there was an excellent ice machine, coffee in the lobby and though parking was tough with a full motel, we always got a wide spot by our room on the Rt. 9 side of the motel. Our king room was nice, the bathroom fine, and for $99 in August in Lake George, a bargain. It had a nice location, was walking distance to quite a few restaurants, but maybe 3/4 mile to the center of town. There is even a balcony with 2 chairs on all the rooms facing the inside V of the motel. They also have a small pool and nice restaurant across the street. I spent many a night in independent motels travelling with my parents as a kid and have grown to appreciate the ones that are well kept over a sterile chain motel in many cases and they are usually cheaper. The Lake George inn is seasonal, only open May-Oct. We would certainly stay here again.

It was a last minute scramble to find a location to go and stay with our two pups for a week that wasn't going to completely kill $$$.( we had stayed once before and enjoyed our stay ). I called up maybe a week ahead and asked if there was any chance to cover the dates requested. The gentleman on the phone asked if I could hold and would check a few things. Shortly after he came back and advised me he could make it happen gave me the price including the addition fee for my two dogs and it was $300 - $400 below most of the other locations near by .

I asked if I could get 20 minutes or so to speak with my other half and he generously asked if I would like for him to block those dates out I took a moment to think about it and decided to just pay and do it.

We arrived a bit early and figured I would swing by , the women at the desk was courteous and professional, asked if I was checking in I replied " if I could...? " sure enough we were good to go. Got to out room which was clean , functional and comfortable. A few times throughout our visit we did ask for a few toiletries and moments after asking they were there. The pool is nice, the facilities are clean , the staff is great and the location is great, close to everything and yet not in the mess of the center of the village.

Thank you again to the Lake George Inn !!

We were up in Lake George for our anniversary. When looking to book a room this was one of the few places where we could just book 1 weekend night at the time. And based on the previous good reviews we booked the room.

When we arrived I went to the office and was promptly greeted and checked in in what seemed like 2 minutes. They also offer contactless call ahead checkin.

We had a one king bed room that was as described. The room was very clean but definitely in need of renovation (obvious rug patch right in the middle of the floor, poor fitting molding, outdated lamps and furniture, etc.). Now again, while outdated and not perfect, the room was very clean and we in no way felt like it was dirty. Everything in the room worked as it should. The bed was pretty comfy. The staff are very nice and helpful. it's at the north end of the village but still walkable down to the village.

The room was pretty inexpensive so no complaints at all really. We got a clean room to stay in for the night at a good price. Recommended.

We love this place. We stayed in the 2 bedroom efficiancy. All the dishes,, silverware and cups were great. One thing about this hotel is that the rooms and everything is clean. You get a clean comfortable room at a fair price. The pool was amazing. You can sit out by the pool and watch your kids while enjoying a nice cigar. They also allow 1 toy per child in the pool which was huge for our daughter. The pool is also open until 10pm which makes for a great ending after shopping and eating in the village. Right downtown so you can walk to all the shops and restaurants. Very short walk to the beach if you want to do some fishing or swimming in the lake. Its also pet friendly so we were able to bring our dog as well. I had a few small requests which Dan at the front desk took care of for me. He went above and beyond. So friendly and glad to help me. Its people like him that will keep us coming back. We highly recommend.

Hi my name is William me and my family recently stayed at the Lake George Inn. The owners and staff are excellent customer service representatives and just good people to be around.

The owners are very knowledgeable about the area and give you ideas on where to eat and what activities you can do with your family.

The Inn itself is certainly located and a 15 minute walk to the beach. The rooms are spectacular.

For shopping go to price choppers and eat lunch or dinner at Charlie's or fire and ice grill.

For breakfast the best place in town is Flapjack Pete's

William.

Location of the hotel is good. However, we were a little bit disappointed with the facilities. Beds were not that comfortable and furnitures/deco are outdated. During the night we were awaken by a loud radio noise at midnight and it took almost 45 minutes to the reception to fix the problem... The kids really enjoyed the pool.

I thought I booked the Lake George Motel on Bookings.com but instead the person on the phone on Bookings.com put us up at the Lake George Inn which is a dump. The parking is too tight without enough spaces. The stairs are too steep. The room was old and smelled and felt unclean. We slept in sleeping bags instead. The bathroom window was unlatched so anyone could break in. My wife is disabled and there are no ramps. The hotel is between two busy roads so it is loud. People hang outside all night drinking and smoking. The walls are thin and we could hear the people above us all night

We stayed one night here for a mini getaway to Lake George. I was with my partner and our son. The hotel was definitely dated, with an 80’s/90’s feel to it. Reminded me of the motels we stayed at on road trips as a kid, so nostalgia was there. In a few years, this style will be all the rage, the way mid-century modern is right now. The rooms we in good condition, and the amenities worked well. The bed could have been a little bit more comfortable, but we slept okay. We really enjoyed the hotel’s pool; was quite clean and a decent patio around it. The hotel had several decks with seating, so there was lots of socializing amongst the guests. I would stay here again in the future.

We had such a fun time. The room was clean and we had so much fun at the pool. The atmosphere was really relaxed and everything is within walking distance. We will be back next year and many more years. Thank you!

Check in and out went very smoothly. We were arriving early in the morning, and the employee helped our check in process. The communication was stellar!

Sleeping went very well, and was quite comfortable. The room had a microwave and a mini fridge. There was a small view of the mountains in the distance! I highly recommend Lake George Inn!
