We were up in Lake George for our anniversary. When looking to book a room this was one of the few places where we could just book 1 weekend night at the time. And based on the previous good reviews we booked the room. When we arrived I went to the office and was promptly greeted and checked in in what seemed like 2 minutes. They also offer contactless call ahead checkin. We had a one king bed room that was as described. The room was very clean but definitely in need of renovation (obvious rug patch right in the middle of the floor, poor fitting molding, outdated lamps and furniture, etc.). Now again, while outdated and not perfect, the room was very clean and we in no way felt like it was dirty. Everything in the room worked as it should. The bed was pretty comfy. The staff are very nice and helpful. it's at the north end of the village but still walkable down to the village. The room was pretty inexpensive so no complaints at all really. We got a clean room to stay in for the night at a good price. Recommended. It's not

Location of the hotel is good. However, we were a little bit disappointed with the facilities. Beds were not that comfortable and furnitures/deco are outdated. During the night we were awaken by a loud radio noise at midnight and it took almost 45 minutes to the reception to fix the problem... The kids really enjoyed the pool.

We love this place. We stayed in the 2 bedroom efficiancy. All the dishes,, silverware and cups were great. One thing about this hotel is that the rooms and everything is clean. You get a clean comfortable room at a fair price. The pool was amazing. You can sit out by the pool and watch your kids while enjoying a nice cigar. They also allow 1 toy per child in the pool which was huge for our daughter. The pool is also open until 10pm which makes for a great ending after shopping and eating in the village. Right downtown so you can walk to all the shops and restaurants. Very short walk to the beach if you want to do some fishing or swimming in the lake. Its also pet friendly so we were able to bring our dog as well. I had a few small requests which Dan at the front desk took care of for me. He went above and beyond. So friendly and glad to help me. Its people like him that will keep us coming back. We highly recommend.

We have stayed here several times... It's very old and dated but always clean. This time, we ended up on the first floor under someone who seemed to walk around all night... and the view when we opened our door was the back of the ice maker. We asked in the office if there were any other rooms... There were none. Even though I booked a couple of months in advance, they told us we needed to request a certain room which I did not know. The young woman in the office was not very receptive to our needs. At least she could have pretended to care... but didn't. There is no coffee maker in the room and a lack of electrical outlets as well. The office offers free coffee but they open at 8 but there are a couple of places in town that open much earlier... The room we had this time was very small with a small bathroom. The pool area is nice but noisy as it is on the corner of Route 9. Will not be staying there again.

My 6 year old son and I stayed for a couple of nights. He especially loved the pool, which was very clean. We were within walking distance of restaurants, and most importantly, the arcade! The people above us were pretty loud (kids running and thumping) and the walls are thin, but it really wasn't loud enough to be an issue.
