The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Mike at the front desk. The pool and hot tub were clean and inviting. The jacuzzi in our room was an unexpected delight, and more than welcome after spending the day walking around! The continental breakfast was a little on the light side, but I’m chalking that up to Covid restrictions. All in all, a pleasant stay.

Room was very clean. We stayed in one of the jacuzzi rooms with King size bed, desk area, small sofa, TV, refrigerator and microwave. Breakfast was minimal but not bad. Staff did not come in and clean while we were there which was ok with Covid, I really didn;t care to have people in the room. We brought our own spray and sprayed down everything before we touched remote and handles

My husband, myself and our 10 yr old son recently stayed for 2 nights in their "king suite" which was more like a 2 bedroom basic room... we checked in and were told they do not accept cash until we check out , problems right off the bat! The front desk employees were very very rude and not helpful our entire stay! We had our sons PTSD support dog with us , with legit paperwork , and they actually tried telling us that they don't accept support animals, then when speaking to manager ofcourse they couldn't argue that with our support animal card and numbers. Our 1st night we had a knock on the door around 1030pm and the man said the people below us were complaining of noise , I said yea I figured once we realized our room was on the 2nd floor maybe we should have tried to change rooms just to avoid any complaints from below us , as you could immediately tell that simple footsteps could pose a noise complaint, old ass floors, un maintained EVERYTHING![ My husband and my son both got splinters from the railings in the stairwell! ] So this guy tells me to keep it down I said ok no problem , then he returned to give me paperwork to read stating what they accept support animals for and what they do not , at this point he asked to see inside the room AFTER I told him my son is in the bath tub and my husband went to the car.... he said oh so your NOT gonna let me see... I said oh it's like that? Sure my dear take a peek at the perfectly clean room and the keg party that was NOT taking place ! Absolutely disgusting guest services, these people act like its their personal hotel and forget they are representing a large company and are failing to do so in a proper manner! I will never stay at a clarion hotel again in my life , nor will anyone I know , I will spread this word until the day I die ! They made us feel unwelcomed and at the end of the stay we wanted to pay for one more night, they told us they would like us to check out ! Not even offering another room! Pathetic! The manager was horrible and rude . Words can't even describe the awful "continental breakfast" that was not even worth waking up for. Stail individually wrapped donuts purchased from the local gas station and wrapped by employees in saran wrap !? Not okay with the pandemic . Also the room was def not clean , we found scum in the tub and chewed gum under couch cushions.... I could keep going. But I'm getting stressed out just typing this . Do yourself a favor , stay ANYWHERE ELSE !

My daughter reserved the jacuzzi suite and at the time had put on the reservation we had 2 adults 2 children there was no problem when she booked and paid for this room. However when we arrived the lady at the front end said that they were not suppose to allow children in that room , Being that the hotel was packed with National Guardsmen I do not believe there were any extra rooms so they let us stay in the suite. We had gone in the pool with the kids a my sons girl friend came up and joined us for a little while as our guest, we were not told at that time or was it written that only registered guests were allowed in the hotel/pool area, however that topic came up at a later time. The pool was nice but the room a bit too cold to make someone want to swim, the hot tub was body temperature at best and not hot and only two people were allowed in the tub at a time. We went back to the room to change and go out to dinner when my 7 year old grandson found a pill under the desk and brought it to his mother , we recognize this pill to be a blood pressure medication. We had my one year old grandson with us in the room as well Thank God he didn't find this pill instead of the older child or he could have ingested this and had some real health issues. When we left for dinner my daughter brought the pill out and showed it to a male that was working the desk , he apologized , we asked if someone could possibly vacuum the room while we are gone just to be safe that nothing else was on the floor . He said no housekeeping staff our currently on at that hour so that couldn't be done . Later that night when we opened up the fold out couch for my grandson we found the sheet that was on it to be covered in potato chips that were not ours . My daughter went out and asked for a clean sheet for the couch . The next day we had to leave early to get to an appointment so my daughter didn't have time to talk to the manager about the issues we had , so she called the next day and talked to the front end manager a woman who was very rude , when my daughter brought up the pill that was found her response was you were not supposed to have a one year old in that room to begin with , " like it was ok that a pill was on the floor because children are not allowed in there anyways" seriously aren't they supposed to vacuum and clean rooms between customers, isn't that a part of standard cleaning much less during COVID ? She also said that if we ever try to reserve the jacuzzi room again we won't be allowed to because they know we have a one year old with us. REALLY, ? WELL AS MY DAUGHTER SAID TO THE RUDE LADY YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY WE WILL NEVER RESERVE ANY ROOM WITH YOUR HOTEL AGAIN. My daughter also contacted cooperate for Choice Hotels and was given some point, which are worth about 25 dollars off our next stay, We were not looking for a free stay all we really wanted was to hear I am sorry we will make sure nothing like this ever happens again. But no we are treated like we are the bad guy for pointed out their down falls in not cleaning a room properly and safely.. We are considering contacting the health department . Oh and one other thing the rude lady at the desk accused us of having a third adult sleeping in the room with us which was completely false my sons girl was there less than an hour visiting she did not spend the night.

Our family of 4 had the Queen Suite with 2 rooms, one room with king bed, sofa, tv, refrigerator, microwave and an additional room with 2 queen beds and tv. However, this smaller room was quite dark as it did not have any windows. That room's layout is awkward. There needs to be a chair in that room. The sofa in the main room needs replacement because the cushions were all flat. Each room in this hotel has an outside terrace with 2 chairs. It was nice to sit outside. The swimming pool is adequate and the hot tub was warm enough and soothing. Since hotels are no longer giving in-room housekeeping service due the current pandemic, there needs to be additional towel bars and hooks in order to hang up wet towels for reuse. Hotels are also requesting reuse of towels for water conservation . Also, since there are no safety bath treads in the tub, safety tub bars need to be installed in order to safely exit the shower. Also, the bathroom needs an exhaust fan. Our travel was during the Covid pandemic, and there was no hot breakfast. The breakfast room only has 10 tables and guests are encouraged to bring the food to their rooms and eat. The offerings include coffee, tea, milk, juice, cold cereals, oatmeal packets to make in the guest rooms, wrapped pastries, yogurt, fruit. Go to breakfast room before 8:30 on weekends because food runs out quickly. This hotel is located directly across the parking lot from the Lake George outlets. It is very convenient and you just need to walk across the parking lot to enter the outlet mall. The front desk service from Dawnee DiLorenzo was excellent as she was very helpful, friendly and welcoming. She gave us several excellent restaurant recommendations and even gave us the restaurant menus to review. I always book directly on the hotel websites instead of using the third party travel sites such as Expedia, Orbitz, Booking.com, Trivago, etc. I get much better accommodations when communicating directly with the hotel. Dawnee was very helpful and gave me the room that I wanted for our 2 night stay. Ask for extra trash bags upon check-in in order to dispose of your own trash. Ask for room away from stairway. The door slams loudly and is bothersome in the night and early morning. There are no elevators in this 2-story hotel.
