This place looks good from far, but it is far from good. The room is basic and smells like mold. There are spiders and spider webs hanging from the ceiling. The walls and the ceiling are dirty and need fresh painting. The toilet is too low and the toilet bowl is dirty. The linens and the beds are not clean either. The towels are disgusting, worn out and smell like mildew. The indoor pool is not heated enough and the outdoor pool is closed due to the rainy weather. The shower is renovated however the entire place is outdated. The beds are not comfortable. The fridge door creakes and squeaks when opening and closing. This place does not have nice amenities and calling it a resort is an exaggeration. The "fitness center" consists of a broken treadmill, one weight bench with no weights, one outdated stationary bike and two other machines. The wifi does not work and the TV not only is not high definition but it has about only 8 channels and it is way too small for the room. All workers look disgruntled and the guests look like they don't want to be here and rightfully so. The management apparently gave up on this place years if not decades ago. Breakfast and housekeeping are not available due to the COVID19 restrictions. However, the bar is open which makes no sense. The pictures and the description of the place on their website are not representative of the truly dilapidated state of this property. All Hawaiian decor is cheesy and unconvincing. You will definitely not feel like you are in Hawaii. The only good thing about this place is its location. It is in close proximity to the village, the lake, restaurants and shopping.

After staying two nights at the Best Western, we decided to stay another night in the Lake George however the hotel room we had was not available for the third night which is why we opted to stay at the Tiki. On last minute notice we were accommodated with adjoining rooms which we appreciated however that is where the positive stay ended. The rooms were small and not worth 108.00. Beds were small but comfortable. Bathroom was small and shower was not clean, there was mold present and dirty. I did not like having to step into the shower to turn it on; most hotels which have glass shower doors have a cut out where you can turn the shower on before getting in but it's a motel so I shrugged it off. In the second room, the shower head was not sucured on right. The water did not get hot enough but the pressure was fine. Good luck finding an outlet that actually worked properly and the cheap tv had such poor picture quality. The walls are paper thin, we heard other conversations both outside the room and in adjacent room. The doors slam shut and floor was dirty. Walking the two feet from the bed to sink , my socks were black. The flies in the room were also a nuisance. After leaving a clean well maintained hotel it was disappointing that we didn't research before hastily choosing to stay at Tiki based on the cute outward appearance. We did not complain as we were out all day and really just slept and checked out. Had I had booked this place for longer than one night I would have left and rebooked elsewhere. Lastly , when we called to book, we not made aware that the infor pool and jacuzzi were closed , at Best Western both indoor and outdoor pools were open so when we asked if the pool was open , the clerk should have specified the closure . With other lodging options , I do not see a reason to stay at this property.

Room was not ready until after 4pm. Room was ok...smelled like someone smoked in it, ok as far as cleanliness however-The walls are paper thin so you can hear talking, babies crying, doors slamming etc. Of all the outlets in the room-only 2 worked which is extremely annoying given today’s world of electronics. I charged my watch in bathroom. The staff didn’t clean room each day due to COVID. We could have asked for new towels at desk but I was only here for 2 nights. No restaurant on site was open which was inconvenient since I had a broken arm. I don’t know why restaurant could not have been open for breakfast. Staff was hard to find at front desk...often waited til they strolled out. The cleaning crew was walking back and forth with cart til 9:00 pm which was odd. When fan was on in bathroom it smelled the marijuana. I stayed here for price and location but next time I will spend the extra dollars and stay in a nicer place.

The reviews are right, this place is a dump! The room is filthy! We could not walk on the floors barefoot or in socks without our feet being covered with a thick layer of dirt. I had to scrub the dirt off of our feet in the shower. Upon arrival, when I checked the beds, the sheets and bedding were dirty and had crumbs in them. I had them changed right away ( the maid service was very nice and helpful) The outside hallways were disgusting and had remnants of food And garbage every where! The rooms smelled. There was also not enough space for social distancing. The outdoor patio is closed and the pool was packed. They only have two picnic tables on the grass area which were used by the same group of people all day from 8:30 in the morning until 10 pm at night. The front desk was rude and not helpful. I asked if they could provide other outdoor spaces for people to sit and asked if there was anywhere else people can go and their response was “it’s first come, first serve.” They made us guarantee a 3 night minimum, and once they processed our credit card, they then informed of us all the amenities that are closed. Such crooks. I hated this place so much that I almost ended up leaving a day early and eating the money on the last night. Word to the wise: stay anywhere else! This place is awful and needless to say, we will not be coming back!

The refrigerator was dirty and it had blood stains in it just disgusting first time staying here and last. The other reviews were right. Overall not happy to stay here especially during these times, they show they aren't doing their jobs
