Very comfortable room with plenty of space; food was very good and the staff were very patient and accommodating. In a very good location from the rock-hewn churches, which enabled easy travel. An ATM outside was also a welcome addition.

Very comfortable and welcoming hotel - spacious rooms overlooking Beta Georgis in a spectacular setting. Great restaurant and helpful staff, who organised sight-seeing around Lalibela. Thoroughly recommended.

Impeccably clean and tidy facilities. Friendly English speaking staff. Small but sufficient menu and the food was the best since we arrived in Ethiopia 9 days ago. And the homemade bread... Delicious. To be recommended to all travellers.

I am very sorry but I was travelling by car. From Addis to Axum. In any case, should be the same, more or less same distance.
