First trip to Gambia, Nov. 2015. Stayed on Mansea Beach Hotel. Good, clean room with air conditioning and comfortable beds. Good pool. The staff was wonderful, cheerful and helpful. The breakfast was good, however, wish that they served Tapalapa, their domestic bread.

I travel to The Gambia several times a year, working as a volunteer for an educational charity. We always stay at Mansea Beach for the first and last nights - a comfortable bed, a working shower and air conditioning is real luxury! The hotel owners are working hard to upgrade the rooms and facilities- and it is really paying off!...

The walk down from the Highway has improved considerably and the road/approach improved the access top the main gate of the hotel. The same staff are in situe, all very friendly and welcoming even although...

Stayed at the Mansea the very first time I went to the Gambia about 13 years ago. Rooms have now been refurbished and are very nice. The season had just started, so there were only 2 other guests at the hotel when we stayed there. The receptionist was incredibly rude to me on arrival - three times - saying we...

Have stayed at the Mansea Beach Hotel several times in the past and was pleasantly surprised by the upgraded rooms. The lack of facilities here are tremendously well balanced by the friendly, accommodating staff. The rooms are immaculately attended to by the cleaner every day and nothing is too much bother for them. Towels are changed as required. The waiter/pool...

I often stay at Mansea beach. Me and my friends like to stay there when we visit the Gambia. We feel very safe and secure, it is value for the money and you have everything you need. The daytime reception manager Lamin is the most professional kind person I have had the pleasure of meeting, year after year. The morning...
