This is a terrible resort! The owner was completely unpleasant and rude when I told him that water dripped on me all night in my cabin. Additionally, when my group first arrived, the manager took us out onto the patio and showed us a mini fridge with cake in it and told us that it was available for anybody who...

I booked this trip and told my family how nice my last experience at Mahango Lodge was, but this time we were not very welcome, thats how we felt. Were put on a site at the back, squeezed tents in front of the ablutions. A while later one of the managers apologized and gave us a site on the river...

This place is like a dream. The permanent tents are beautiful, clean and perfectly appointed (even with AC!), and with a great view of the river. The food is delicious (we had a breakfast and dinner plan). Tables can be reserved for dinner, so we reserved the table we had the first night (we stayed 3 nights). Unfortunately, the table...

Wonderful situation, restaurant on the river, we enjoyed the many coloured birds and had a good meal. Very friendly atmosphere and very interesting invironment. The bar is quite impressive as well. Did not see any rooms or the campsite but thought it looked interesting.

On arrival at Mahangu Safari Lodge we were welcomed by Felix. We originally booked a campsite but after enquiring about a room, Felix quickly showed us what he had available and upgraded us to a chalet. The chalet was spacious, neat and clean and had an aircon, which we were in desperate need off, as it was 45 degrees outside!!...

The setting of this lodge is STUNNING!!!! Whilst relaxing and drinking draught beer on their veranda we enjoyed watching hippos out feeding, herds of elephant, massive herd of buffalo, Impala, grazing warthogs, kudu and water Buck. Lovely little pool to cool off midday. Chalets as expected, nice to have air conditioning and a really good shower. Food is lovely, good...

This year we spent three great nights at the lodge. Since our last visit they have a Quad Hull vessel which takes guests on breakfast cruises on the Kavango River. We went on one of these cruises on our second morning. It's a very relaxing and interesting event. There was plenty bird and animal life to see. Buffalo, Kudu, Croc,...

This lodge offer fun activities like swimming in a pool in the river and boat cruises. The restaurant offers set meals which were tasteful and a well stocked bar with nice views of the river. The only negative was the two single beds in our tented chalet.

We had a very nice stay here for 2 nights. The location is excellent, and we had room 7 which is close to the restaurant and bar. The room(house) was for families, since we indicated we had our baby with us. The small swimming pool is icecold, but clean and good with children. The river pool we didn't try. The...

Initially planned on staying here for one night on the last leg of our roadtrip from Zimbabwe back to Windhoek. But we ended up staying 3 nights due to car trouble. As we were about to arrive our car shut down and was inoperable.  We called the lodge to let them know of our issue and they offered to tow...
