One of the best places to get away in Nigeria, high up in the Cameroon mountains. The temperature weather and serene mountain expanse provide such relaxation, many are struggle to leave. Food is great at the Mountain Steak. Go with an umbrella and jacket as the weather often changes without warning. Cable ride from the valley gives a great view...

Obudu Mountain resort takes some getting to! It's a long drive from wherever you want to reach it, but once you are close, the views are quite beautiful. The drive up the hill is a bit scary as the roads are narrow and you are frankly not used to such heights in Nigeria. However, you reach the top, and if...

While the Villas at the resort are a bit pricey for the amenities offered, Obudu is one of the best places in Nigeria to take a break. First, Obudu's vistas are breathtaking, with cloud rolling into the peaks and valleys throughout the day, lush vegetation creeping up the mountainside, and spectacular sunsets (and sunrises--for the early birds) practically every day....

Reception was poor on arrival because we were only welcomed after confirming our accommodation booking by the receptionist. We expected the reverse. Location of resort is outstanding with delightful scenery and unique weather conditions. Food (national cuisine) was great with ever smiling staffs always around to meet our needs. The rooms in the mountain villa are clean and spacious. Rationing...

Went there for a weekend during which it was pouring the whole time. Would otherwise liked to have gone on the cable car, canopy walk, etc. Don't understand why it's so pricey as the rooms and facilities are very average.

In the area of accomodation, you need to reduce your minimum cost from twenty five thousand to ten or fifteen thousand for middle men. In the area of power, you have all it takes to make one be comfortable in your accomodation but all the electronics are unaccessible of lack of power. I discover that you only offer power from 6pm to...

I love the locaTion, the rooms are cool and neat, the services are average, the good thing about the ranch is the climate and the wow things about it are the cable car, canopy walk, and the many natural waterfalls, will want to be visiting there every year, during spring.

Obudu mountain was resort was for real. I found it hard to believe such a place existed in Nigeria. we were there with another couple and had the presidential suite. The weather was cool, the hotel was comfy, the rooms were clean, and there was just so much to do. the cable car, the trail, the hiking, the water park,...

My first time, and traveled with friends. It is a very nice place you would not believe that you are the tropics because the weather is almost winter-like. so much to see and so much to do, we had to extend. -Breath taking views, the cable car, water park, hairpin turns on the narrow hilly roads is breath taking and...

Obudu Mountain Resort provides accommodation in the form of African round huts and chalets on stilts maximising the breathtaking views. Obudu Mountain Resort also offers self-contained suites varying in size from the 2-bedroomed Governor’s Lodge with its own lounge/dining room and kitchenette to the 20 Mountain...

“For the more adventurous on a tighter budget, there's also a small guesthouse in the village close to the resort. Ask for Ralph and they should be able to set you up cheap! Since the hiking and views are what you're here for, as long as the room is clean and the bed comfortable it shouldn't matter where you're staying anyway!”
