My wife and I stayed at the stagecoach mid-September. This is hands down the most welcoming B&B we have stayed at. The lodge itself is beautifully decorated, the breakfast is fantastic and enormous and the wine and cheese in the evening is both pleasant and appreciated after a long hike. The owners make the lodge very special Mary Pat and...

I have just returned from a 10-day stay at the Stagecoach Inn in Lake Placid. The entire experience was excellent. The owners and hosts,Mary Pat and Tony, could not have been more gracious and welcoming in every respect. Their deep knowledge of the High Peaks area was an added plus, as I and my companion planned our activities. The inn,...

We've stayed at b&b's for decades and have had some wonderful experiences. We both agree that our stay with Mary Pat and Tony at the Stagecoach Inn B&B was the best to date. By the end of our vacation in Lake Placid, we truly did feel like we were staying with friends at their home. The decor is stunning, the...

This was my first long weekend trip to Lake Placid and it was a fantastic time, due to our stay at The Stage Coach Inn. Mary Pat and Tony treated us like family and the warm and generous experience will never be forgotten. Our Wine and Cheese times were absolutely epic and our breakfasts were served up with huge portions...

Stayed at the Stagecoach Inn mostly based on other reviews. We were certainly not disappointed in the least. The Inn has been completely renovated about 5 years ago. The owners Mary Pat and Tony did an amazing job. Mary Pat used to have an antique shop in town but must have used all of the antiques in the Inn. Really...

Simply the best...The Stagecoach Inn is a rare find thanks to Mary-Pat and Tony’s hospitality and restoration skills. A 19th century inn has been painstakingly and lovingly restored to perfection over three years with Douglas fir, nutmeg colored wainscoting on the the walls and ceilings and decorative objects, such as giant old snowshoes, that are sparingly selected and positioned with...

Not only was the Stagecoach beautifully restored and decorated, Mary Pat and her husband went above and beyond expectations. Mary Pat went out of her way to provide the little extras that made our 25th anniversary week special. Tony, the behind the scenes kind of guy, quietly hooked us up with ski lessons with a friend and even cleaned the...

My husband earned points when he chose the Stagecoach Inn for a long weekend. Our host, Mary Pat and her husband, Tony, are the salt of the earth. At the entrance to the inn, there is a sign that reads "enter as strangers, leave as friends." Cute but corny, right? Well it's true. In addition to the gracious hospitality, you...

My husband and I stayed here for 3 days. It's homey, cozy, beautiful and the hosts Mary Pat & Tony were gracious and friendly. Mary Pat's breakfasts were unbelievable. Real homemade bread and little pastries, homemade yogurt and granola along with an Irish Breakfast that consists of eggs, potatoes, ham, sausage & bacon. You can also have French toast. Simply delicious....

My husband and I just returned from celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary in Lake Placid and we stayed two nights at the Stagecoach Inn. Mary Pat and Tony (the owners) were just so welcoming and personable - they made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The Inn is lovingly restored and filled with beautiful antiques - it was filled with interesting...
