We came to LP with a group of college friends and were looking for somewhere comfy to stay that was close to everything and affordable. Art Devlin's was all of the above! We stayed in a regular room with 2 queens which was fine. We still had a fridge and small balcony that overlooked the frozen pool and mountains. Friends...

We stayed two nights at Art Devlin for a ski and fun weekend and I was impressed with the quality and it's great location. It's (a good) walking distance to the main street attractions. we stayed in the upstairs room and the room was fantastic, a great view, comfortable beds, a very spacious room and a great bathroom with marble...

In our last ditch effort to find winter we stayed at Art Devlin's as a convenient point to reach everything in the Lake Placid area including Whiteface, the Olympic Center museum, Olympic Complex and restaurants. What we experienced in return were very comfortable and clean accommodations and friendly staff - including Cassie the resident watch dog who couldn't resist a...

The motel has a rustic appeal. The rooms are a bit dated, but super clean and at such reasonable prices. Bathrooms have been updated and include granite countertops. A small fridge is tucked under the sink. Hair dryers are included. They serve free coffee and tea at breakfast, along with wonderful little muffins of many flavors. This one is a...

I stayed in October 2011. During this time of year, there is a 2-night minimum stay. I told the gentleman I spoke with when I called to make a reservation that I was only interested in 1 night, and he very graciously accommodated me. The price is inexpensive for the area. My dog-friendly room was very clean (believe me, I...

We just returned from staying at Art Devlin's and both decided that we would not consider staying anywhere else when we return to Lake Placid! It was very reasonably priced and the rooms were very spacious! The Location is perfect and is within walking distance to everything we wanted to do. The only drive we took was a short trip...

We usually stay here during the ski race series and it's very convenient, easy and affordable. The rooms are not too flashy, yet comfortable. Front staff is helpful. Lots of "hardware" in the lobby of trophies won, a real Lake Placid Olympic feel.

We have stayed here two times now and both have been great experiences. The rooms are large and clean and the location is within walking distance of everything in town. The mountain views from the second floor rooms are very nice and the cost is about 1/2 of what you would pay for even a standard room at any other place...

This place is a gem. A wonderful spacious room, very clean, good central heating, renovated immaculate bathroom – all this in the upgraded standard room. I couldn’t have asked for more, especially for around $100 per night for my family of three. I didn’t take any pictures because it looks exactly like the shots on the website. One of the...
