Awesome location, clean welcoming room, nice bed, good food. We had very good time there and enjoyed our hike next day. Parking lot was a bit confusing, would love to have more signs at a parking lot.

The Adirondack Loj is a great place to camp year-round. I have gone in the summer and fall, campsites are always well kept, flat, and very accommodating to our needs. Plenty of room for a vehicle, tent, and there is a picnic table and fire pit as well.

The Wilderness Camping area was excellent with close proximity to multiple trails into the High Peaks. I stayed in Lean-to 16. It was very private and peaceful. I enjoyed the multiple hiking trails, friendly staff, and amazing mountains.

This is a hidden gem - perfect for those who like to escape from the 'real world'. No TV or phone reception, like-minded people who respect the mountains and appreciate their importance. Cosy, clean facilities, good and plentiful food and advice if needed. Log fire, warm rooms, hot showers and fantastic trails. Staff knowledgeable and friendly. marvelously peaceful in late... More

We stayed at the Loj the night before a hike to Mt. Marcy. It was the perfect place to hunker down for the night, and the early breakfast (which was simple and delicious, especially the banana bread) was perfectly timed with when we had planned to depart for the hike. The front desk provided micro-spike rentals, without which our trek... More

Perfect place for a wedding. We a private room which was great. Many rooms are shared and if you can sleep in a group they'd be fine. Beautiful decor. Isolated and beside a clean swimmable lake. Next to many hiking trails. Great food and excellent staff. Only concern was slow wifi.

It's a very nice place to stay, and it's located very close to lots of good trails. After a long day of hiking, it felt good to take a nice warm shower and sleep in a cabin-like atmosphere. I enjoyed my stay.

Excellent accommodations that are thoughtfully staffed. Both ADK and JBL are perfect base camps for reaching most of the High Peaks in day trip fashion. They also have a good selection of alternative camping like lean-tos, cabins and canvas huts. Looking forward to visiting annually.

The Adirondacks are one of the most beautiful corners of the country, and the Loj is one of the best places to stay when visiting. It is literally in the heart of the Adirondacks, at Heart Lake, and it is comfortable and cozy and welcoming. The food is hearty and healthy and tasty, and the opportunity to hang out around...
