This was my first camping trip ever. My Boyfriend goes all the time, I was nervous. The bathrooms are clean, the garbage is taken care of everyday and the shower was great. There's just one in the women's room, I can't speak about the men's. We just booked our next Trip in a couple weeks. Close to everything including Adk...

We stayed here twice for 3-4 nights - excellent sites for RV. Easy to pull in and out! Flexible they let us drop off our RV in the morning so we could go into Lake Placid and set up in the evening. Family owned...we will be back! Pet friendly our Siberian huskies love drapers!

This campground is very close to Lake Placid. We stayed at a state campground about the same distance away and did not enjoy the stay nearly as much as we did at Drapers Acers. The staff/owners were very accommodating and helpful with all our needs. There were a variety of tent sites; some open field, some woods. Bathroom/ shower area...

We chose this place due to proximity to cascade and porter. Check in was easy and family that owns the joint is nice. At night we were able to watch the meteor shower in the common area. The only negative is there is a lot of traffic noise at night and in morning. We would prob stay here again when...

It was a nice quiet place. Affordable. Friendly owners. Decent bathroom and showers for a camp ground. The only downfall was that our camp site was near the main road, so we heard cars the whole time. But other than that, it was nice. Not too far from town.

My buddy and I tent camped here for a long weekend in September. Overall, the campground met, if not exceeded our expectations - our site was free of debris and quietly nestled along one of the main paths, and the bathrooms were some of the cleanest that I've seen at a campground. The showers are coin operated - but a...

First weekend of new management. New management was a polite and generous family. Close to Cascade/Porter trailhead if you're into hiking, otherwise not too far from town. Overall a very nice stay. I would come again.

Wife and I stayed here last summer. Very 'no frills' cabin, small bathroom and bunkbeds right next to the main bed. This place was exactly what we wanted, a quick overnight stay in a rustic cabin. The staff was friendly, the grounds were well kept. Yes, the showers are 'coin slot' operated. It was a throwback to a era a...

I did not think coin operated showers still existed, but you will find them here. A bare bones campground with nice and quiet wooded sites. The location is very accessible to the high peaks of the Adirondacks. At least once I paid my quarters the shower was hot!

I haven't been camping in years, and based on my experience here, I will not be camping again soon. Good: the individual campsites are mostly treed, and all are very large. We were able to fit a tent trailer and a 6-man tent very comfortably. Bad: very, very noisy. The road (rte 73?) is very close. We also had two...

We are a family run campground located in Lake Placid, NY. This campground offers quiet wooded tent and camper/RV sites as well as cabins.
