We spent 8 nights in this beautiful resort and it was really amazing! We booked directly and the assistance was great, they gave lots of information per mail and it was nice. The place is fantastic as the view from the open terrace of the bar/restaurant. I have never seen a sea like that: great water, lots of colours al...

I visited Manta Resort, Pemba island briefly in October 2016 on a business trip. The resort is remotedly located towards the northern end of Pemba island. However, the resort will pick up from the airport as per your booking. The journey to the resort is through an evergreen rain forest full of tall trees and wild plants. The resort is...

The most unique hotel room you can stay at! Your personal island with amazing meals delivered to you. You can swim in the water, gaze at starts all night, and best of all watch the fish watch you through your bedroom window. Only problem is, you may not want to sleep because you want to enjoy the room and ocean...

What is there not to love about this place? We spent 11 days at Manta and it felt like a home away from home from the very start. The whole atmosphere is very relaxed, private and friendly. The rooms are great, simple in design but perfect for the environment. The beach is amazing, food and drinks really good but what...

Period of stay – 4th -13th September 2015 My wife and I, together with my son & his wife arrived at Pemba airport after staying at the Masai Mara. Immediately after clearing airport controls we were collected as planned by the 4WD arranged by The Manta Resort. The journey to Manta started speedily, on tarmac roads still being maintained, travelling...

We had an incredible experience staying at the Manta Resort for our one week Honeymoon. We took our PADI Advanced Open Water course with the wonderful David and we did several more dives in addition to the course. The night diving was incredible and the visibility unbelievable. We stayed in a breathtaking oceanfront room. Our vegetarian requests were completely accommodated...

What did we love about the Manta Resort? Well, just about everything! We were in a seafront room, and the view was breathtaking. The bed was very comfortable and the innovative aircon system is brilliant. Plenty of hot water for showers any time of day. The staff could not have been more helpful, both in the lodge and at the...

Wow. Such a special place, away from crowds is an understatement! Saw hardly a soul all week, and all we heard was the swish of gentle ocean tides. Amazing staff, and attached to a fantastic dive centre. We may not have seen many people but we saw A LOT of fish and coral. BEST DIVING AND BEST HOLIDAY EVER.

Everything at Manta resort is perfect. The best thing is that it's an allinclusive hotel as you have never seen before. You pay only once while booking and then everything you want is free : food, drinks, massage, activities. The owner is Swedish and lives at the resort, so he goes snorkeling with the guests everyday in the morning and...
