A board on the deck of the room was rotten and collapsed when I stepped on it and fell through badly damaging my thigh. Very, very painful. Not impressed at all. Will never stay there again, this should not happen. A photo of the damage to my leg has been attached. I am very angry that this happened.

It is an absolute experience in all the senses. Rooms are beautiful and exciting and the five course dinners is a pleasant experience. It was my second visit and i will definitely go again. The river and the rapids are really exciting and a good photography experience.

We stayed one night at the Wildwaters lodge, and were mesmerized by this place. The location is absolutely breathtaking - sunset, moonrise and sunrise, the landscape changes and the Nile flows loudly around this island.

The Lodge is on an island in the middle of the thundering Victoria Nile rapids. It is accessed by a short boat ride. There are just ten lodges with huge bedrooms, bathrooms and outside decking including a bath. It is about to undergo a major programme of renovation to replace the wooden walkways and upgrade all the furniture and crockery...

Wildwaters was our last destination and truly a jewel of a property! The adventure begins with a canoe ride to the private island. Once at the island you are greeted with the customary juice and wet towel to rid your travel dust welcome. Wood decked trails lead you to the private individualized cabins. The family cabins are two stories with...

Our stay at Wildwaters was the culmination of an amazing honeymoon experience travelling around Uganda. The journey to the hotel certainly makes it feel very exclusive and an adventure - being rowed to the island across the calmer stretches of white water gives a great sense of what your stay will be like! The lodges are incredibly beautiful structures, with...

Wildwaters was our last stop on an amazing two weeks travelling round Uganda. Arriving at the lodge on a rowing boat is certainly different and the lodges are beautiful, large and private with your own terrace with a free standing bath outside. We were in lodge 1 and had awesome views of the rapids. The nightly African stories were a...
