I was disappointed as this was advertised as a B&B and was more like a motel. Specifically asked for 2 firm mattresses we were shown to a room with one king sized bed. We needed 2 beds and then were not even shown another room just told were to go and told to turn on the heat . My friends...

I had the pleasure of spending a weekend at Lazy Pond. It definitely brought back childhood memories of quality time spent with my family and I brought them over as well to see for themselves! The owners Jeanne and Don, and their son Matt are amazing hosts and truly make the difference. This is not a family run business, this...

We stayed here because our child was at Stage Door. It was about 10-15 minutes away, which was nice. The owner never greeted us until the morning after our arrival. Call me crazy, but when I stay in a B&B, I look forward to personalized family- like service. When we arrived, there was no one around. No welcome sign or...

My husband and I stayed here because we needed a base near Bethel Woods Arts Center and they recommended Lazy Pond. When we got here we had a choice of rooms and ended up in a very nice large cabin with a big living room and a porch with rocking chairs. There was a second bedroom that I imagine only...

My BFF discovered Lazy Pond in 2002 when they were just get started. We spent many a summer with Jean and Don visiting our kids at camp and despite the fact that camp was 45 minutes away we would not have had it any way. They love and care that Jean and Don give to their guests is unbelievable. It...

We have come to the area for three years, in order to pick up our son from a nearby camp. In that time, we have stayed at several sub-standard (ie, not really clean) places due to lack of options. Not sure how we missed the Lazy Pond! The room was lovely, and clean (!). The grounds were relaxing and expansive....

We paid $250/night to stay at Lazy Pond during Dramafest at Stagedoor Manor. Our room did not have fully working electricity--I have a CPAP machine that could only turn on if we turned off the air conditioning--and there was also no shampoo in the bathroom. But the most galling lack of customer service occurred as to breakfast. The inn serves...

A great report to the chef! The beds felt like you were being hugged in a great way. They were so comfy I didn't want to wake...

For the past six (or so) years our group has had its annual July gathering using Lazy Pond as our base. Jean, the owner/manager, always calm, tranquil and never agitated is an excellent host. Her never ending supply of cookies is a plus. Breakfasts are more than ample, including juice, cereal, omelettes, pancakes, muffins etc. This B&B is a good...
