Was looking to an hotel in Manhattan but the prices where really high, and the i found Ravel. I just under the Queensboro Bridge and has free transfer free transfer to nearby public transports and restaurants. Also, the staff is Friendly and helpful, has a amazing view and an incredible rooftop. Highly Recomended.

location in ok. Nothing with in walking distance. shuttle to train is every 1/2 hour. taxi/uber can be spendy and traffic is not good in that area. Rooms were massively big and clean. no hot water for the first hour. Restaurant was good for 1 night if you want expensive asian with a view. there was a pub style room...

Loved the hotel and the penthouse restaurant and lounge. The food was really, really good. Only reason i am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the lighting in the bathroom could've been better. Maybe a vanity mirror with light to apply makeup since the sink is kind of high and you are a good distance from the...

Location is great for Subway links and the hotel provides a free shuttle service to local amenities. Room was comfortable and well equipped, although Friday and Saturday evenings are quite noisy. Breakfast buffet was amazing every morning and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The view of Manhattan is also fantastic from the penthouse.

The Ravel does a nice job with its budget-boutique-hotel look and feel but our stay was obliterated by the noise from the restaurant/night club on the property, as well as in the hallways. Perhaps it would not be a factor for all rooms but where we were we heard loud talking, shouting, and/or equipment moving around until well past 2...

I had an excellent experience when I stay at Ravel. The only compliant i would say is the noise. People would hang out in the hallway from the bar/club until 4AM and it was annoying. overall it was great!

My husband and I recently stayed at The Ravel. As well pulled into the outdoor garage we were quite amazed to see that it was literally under the 59th street bridge with a full view of the Manhattan skyline!! Upon arrival the staff was very courteous and friendly, and we checked into our fourth floor (king bed) room. The hotel...

This hotel runs a club on its top floor, when it is not booked for private parties who also use a DJ. We staid there with 2 other couples for a whole week (3 rooms on different floors) and we all suffered from the noise (yes NYC is a noisy city, i am not talking about the noise from the...

I had to have an unplanned trip to NYC due to a family emergency. The hotel although having a few alterations done to the reception area was great. The view from the roof top terrace/restaurant is absolutely amazing looking over the river into the city. Special shout needs to go out to the staff, they couldn't do enough to help...
