I must confess that I have not seen cockroaches as someone said, but you can not stay in this place. the room stinks and the area is SCARING. After dark you will see no living soul in the area. There is no service at all. In the front desk you will find some teenagers, if so. I have asked one...

We chose this hotel 2 subway stops from Manhatten because we found everything on Manhatten very pricey. This hotel is a short walk--3 blocks--from the subway. The only thing I didn't like about the location is that we couldn't go back to the hotel for a short break during the day--it was too far. The first day we were in...

I stay in many hotels but this one was quite a surprise and not in a positive way: 1. Noise from the subway train is just horrible 2. Not sure if the noise from the broken A/C or from the subway was worth 3. Staff at front desk is unfriendly 4. Rooms are tiny for this part of the city...

The only good thing about the hotel is that the subway station is only 1 block away. But even that was not a plus for us, since during our stay, the subway station was closed due to construction work... The staff that attended us during our stay was unprofessional and unfriendly. Actually, our first 'warm welcome' was the receptionist (he...

Unfriendly, unprofessional and unpleasant staff. Never seen something like that. Dirty and small rooms (they did not hoover the room one single day!). Terrible breakfast. Some mornings you need to stand to eat your breakfast as there are just a few tables. Good things? A subway station just around the corner. By the way, rooms are very noisy because of...

We spent there four days and we were very happy. The room was clean and tidy every day, willing service, breakfast simple but good. But the best is access to the center. By subway you are in Manhattan in 15 minutes, which is absolutely ideal. The surroundings may seem strange or dangerous, but we always felt safe and never threaten...

My wife and I stayed here the day before the hurricane and could only get the bottom floor which is half underground. I tried to change it but with the bad weather all the good rooms were probably booked. That wasn't so bad but the noise in the morning when the housekeeping staff came out was incredible. It was before...
