Family own place. It's quiet place. Not the best looking, but comfortable and clean. The manager said if there was any problems with the room I can tell him and he will fix immediately. Seemed like nice people. I didn't have problems. Just slept and was out after my car was fixed.
This is the worst motel I have ever stayed.we were on the motorcycle and caught in the rain. No where else but here was close. Charged $150 For one night in a room not worth $50. Smelled of smoke, bathroom smelled of septic. Don't stay here no matter what...drive to next exit to find one. It's better to sleep in your car. This place should be condemned!
Dingy room, not even a clothes hanger, the only art work in the unit was the remains of a insect that had been splatted on the wall of the bathroom.Slept in our clothes, bed sheets were iffy.Small fridge circa ?60`s.Did have newly painted pavement in front of units.
My husband stayed here on travel for work. The town this hotel is in accommodates union travelers because there are so many of them there for work, seeking hotels by the week. This hotel was conveniently located for my husband as it was close to his work and looked pretty well maintained from the outside. My husband said the cleanliness was OK; no roached or vermin in the room. The hotel did inform him that despite their outrageous weekly rate, that after teh first week he would no longer receive any amenities (no one to clean the room essentially) and that he would be required to wash his sheets at least once a week and would have to find a way to work with the two towels they provided him because it "isn't their job to do his laundry". Never, in my life, have I heard of a motel (or any place in the HOSPITALITY BUSINESS) that makes it's visitors clean their own towels and linens. Absolutely absurd. Next, is the horrible customer service. Absolutely the worst people to deal with; rude, condescending, self-righteous and insulting. I could see almost willing to put up with all of these things if the price is right, but it charges what a decent hotel would charge. DON'T stay here, avoid at all costs.…
If you value your life, your health and your money don't stay here! Booked for a birthday bash at Saratoga and this was the only place available for miles. We got in to find the manager aka Jabba the Hutt (for those of you unfamiliar to the reference Jabba the Hutt is a fictional character appearing in George Lucas' Star Wars. He is depicted as a large, slug-like alien) and he was screaming at us for arriving at 8:30 pm about to book us as "No Shows" and take our money without giving us a room. After 20 minutes of bickering he finally gave us a key and we went to our Cell--I cannot call it a room. The door was practically off its hinges, it smelled dank and when we fumbled for the lights, and managed to switch it on, a herd of cockroaches ran scrambling for cover---YUK! The light fixture and firm alarms were hanging from wires from the ceiling, the paint was chipped & spotty, the room looked and smelled dirty, However I was not about to cross the threshold to inspect the bathrooms or the linens. We returned to the office to see if they had another room--no they said. When I complained of the vermin and the filth Jabbah the manager told my husband to silence his woman and keep her under control. When I asked him, if he would sleep in that filthy decrepid room --He laughed and said quite willingly, " I would never sleep in any of these rooms!" I said well then if you are an honorable man you will give me back my money, to which Jabba the Hutt replied, "Well, I am not an honorable man'" (Big surprise there!) He recommended I call the police--and I took him up on it. When the police arrived and took our stories, Jabba insisted that my husband and I wait outside while he recounted his version. While waiting outside, one of the policemen informed us that this happens regularly along with a number of break ins and assaults, as during the off season the county uses this establishment to house, the indigent, drug addicts, alcoholics and the homeless, Needless to say we did not stay here. We slept in the car--and Priceline.com refunded our money. this place rates a ZERO!!!…
