Detailed Reviews
Check in for our five night stay was rocky to say the least. I had originally booked through Expedia with one credit card which was later cancelled and replaced with a new card with a different number. The clerk said that she couldn't let me check in until i could get the reservation changed through Expedia to the new card number. I called Expedia and finally after multiple tries to get through their awful automated system i was able to talk to a real person. I explained the situation to her and she said there was no reason why the desk clerk couldn't change the credit card number to the one i presented. I then gave my phone to the desk clerk who argued with Expedia. After one more try the desk clerk was able to put through my card.
The desk clerk as well as the wonderful ladies in the breakfast room were very friendly and efficient.
Breakfast was good with cooked to order eggs and waffles and toast, as we as cold offerings such as cereal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, fruit and coffee, tea and juices.
The hotel is definitely showing its age.
After returning to our room on the first day of our visit we came back to our room not being cleaned. We called the front desk but were told that due to staff shortages they only cleaned rooms at check out and not during stay. My husband then went down to desk to get clean towels, disposable drink cups and garbage bags. Every day of our 5 room stay we tidied our own room, emptied our garbage, changed our towels and made the bed.
The room was not that clean when we checked in. There was visible dust/debris around the edges of the carpet and easily visible behind the nightstands and tv cabinet. There was mildew and dust caked in the corners of the bathroom as well as what appeared to be cigarette burn marks on the edge of the bathtub.
Parking was adequate and location is excellent for walking to restaurants in Oak Creek.
This hotel needs some staffing for housekeeping and other duties. It also needs some updating and a good cleaning of the rooms.

Hotel was reasonably priced and comfortable. We only stayed 1 night and were happy that the accommodations for the most part. We did have to request extra towels since there were 4 of us and only 2 sets of towels in the room. All the hotels we stayed at in Arizona only had 2 sets of towels.

The hotel staff are welcoming upon arrival and provided late checkout.
In the suite bedroom, the welcome announcement from the lobby can be heard saying WELCOME all hours of the night (we heard it until ~2 am then starting again ~8 am). THat is not enough sleep for me. I brought it to the manager's attention but not sure if any action was taken.

Don't stay here! The rooms were dirty. The pool was closed even though it wasn't posted on the website! We booked this hotel because they had a pool and we planned on swimming! The continental breakfast was a joke. When we got to the breakfast area at 7:30 AM the little fridge was empty. We had to ask the attendant for yogurt. He said they were rationing it because they were expecting more guests tomorrow! WHAT????? Go to a store a buy more! The fresh fruit was gone also. There were scrambled eggs, cold cereal, and waffles left.

Definitely Budget hotel, really a motel.
Adequate for someone on a tight budget or looking for a base for their hiking/climbing activities.
Breakfast buffet does not have anything worth the calories.
Coffee is decent, bring your Yeti cup
Room is old and worn out.
Cleaning is adequate for the most part, but below my standards. Bathroom floor & baseboards not clean.
Skimpy on towels, and they are small
Bring your own shampoo/conditioner
Bed was comfortable.
No private space to dress besides bathroom.
One star for cleaning, towels, amenities and breakfast.

This hotel leaves much to be desired. Wall paper peeling in bathrooms, light fixtures missing with open sockets. Room wasn't vacuumed. Breakfast is run like a concentration camp, you need tickets every morning, we couldn't be bothered for this stupidity. Upstairs landing is wood and rotting in places, not a nice feeling. Front desk evening staff took 30 minutes to check in 2 people, unacceptable. Floors are wood and ire very loud to downstairs rooms. There is an empty section in the rooms by the door that should have a small couch, looks terrible empty Overall for the price, a poor value. We could have stayed at one of the diamond resorts for the same price. With the selection of hotels in the area, this one is not a good option.

Days Inn hotels in general are not that great, but this one had most others beat. Hotels in Sedona are all over priced and this one seemed expensive for a Days Inn. The room was generally fine with a comfortable bed and up to date bathroom. Only problem we had was that they only left us 1 wash cloth. The room was clean and the WIFI was good. They were providing a breakfast with an attendant who prepared waffle for you or dished up your scrambled eggs and made your toast. Covid rules were in place. We never used the pool but it looked inviting.

Breakfast was filling: yoghurt, eggs, cereal, waffles, bread. Overall clean and quiet property. I thought overpriced but best thing going in area without resort fees.
I like they had en suite hair dryer, coffee maker, refrigerator, iron and board.

I meticulously arranged our hotel stay through Booking.com, eager for a seamless experience. After a long journey from Phoenix, we arrived in Sedona at 7:30pm, greeted warmly by Alec at the front desk.
However, our excitement quickly turned to disappointment when Alec informed us, despite our confirmed reservation, that there was an oversight regarding breakfast inclusion. This revelation was disheartening, especially considering we were the second guests to encounter this issue.
Adding to our dismay, Alec allocated us a room with what he described as the 'best view,' only for us to discover it faced a dumpster and a restaurant. Despite our polite request for a room change, Alec's response was unexpectedly rude. He cited our third-party booking as grounds for refusing our request, leaving us incredulous at his lack of empathy.
Seeking resolution, we implored Alec to involve the manager, hoping for a more accommodating solution. Regrettably, our efforts were met with further disappointment as both Alec and the manager failed to display the level of professionalism and hospitality expected in the industry. Their only solution was an offer to cancel our reservation at 8pm without any fee!!!
Disheartened and frustrated, we opted to seek alternative accommodations, canceling our reservation promptly at Kokepalli Inn. Our experience serves as a cautionary tale, reminding others to exercise caution when booking through third-party platforms at this establishment. In an industry built on customer satisfaction, such shortcomings are not just regrettable but entirely avoidable.

We stayed here purely because there was a in room hot tub, we paid more than we normally pay to stay here. The room itself wasn’t super clean, dust on the coffee tray, it was obviously not everything had be wiped down. Every bath towel we had had at least one hole in it so basically all the towels really should of been thrown away. It was an okay hotel I guess, location was good but that was about it. Probably won’t pay to stay there again.

Unfortunately, we do not a bus system. Thank you
Our suites are awesome for couples! but they do only have 1 King bed in them, so would only be able to accommodate 2 guests.
