Enjoy your stay in Saint-Mathieu!
We stayed twice for one night. The first time, we enjoyed a nice, clean room, with a view of the sea. The second time we were upgraded to an even lovelier room in another building. Both rooms are upstairs without an elevator. The desk people are very friendly and pleasant.
The Logis Hôtel Vent d'Iroise Pointe Saint Mathieu was excellent, really great room on the 3rd floor (Room 301) with wonderful views over the Atlantic Ocean and Pointe Saint Mathieu Lighthouse. Staff were very helpful and help me with my motorcycle luggage and found me a place to park. The hotel does have a small car park for about 8 cars unsure if you can reserve a space in advance.
Outstanding staff in an absolutely beautiful location with breathtaking views of the sea! Walking distance to the ancient monastery of Saint Mathieu and several outstanding restaurants. Don't miss the chance to hike some of the trails along the coast which will take you past WWII German gun emplacements.
Nice place to visit St Mathieu lighthouse and 25 km around, good restaurant close by. Tools are nice but breakfast could be berger and restaurant staff more quiet in the morning. A good place to sleep and lové around.
We enjoyed our stay here while visiting the lighthouses in the area. It's just a short walk to the St. Mathieu lighthouse and there's a nice hiking path along the coastline. Our room was on the ground floor, a good size, bright and with a second door out onto the patio area. The room had a double bed, closet, and a desk area. The bathroom was around the corner but open to the room - not a lot of privacy. Oddly, the toilet was in a small room by itself opposite the entry door to the room. As for amenities, there was a kettle with tea and coffee supplies, a TV, and password protected wi-fi. The wi-fi was out the first morning, but restored by the afternoon. There are a few outlets you can use for recharging electronics. The patio area outside the room surrounding the property is very pretty and chairs and tables are provided. Parking is free, but there are just a few spaces on the property. The hotel is back off the road a bit, but easy to get to.…
