I cannot rate this vineyard more highly. It's quaint, stunning and very relaxing. Run by a friendly, attentive pair. The olive oil and wine produced at the vineyard is delicious. We also enjoyed cycling around the local area and down the canal. The bikes and plenty of advice was provided at the chateau. We look forward to visiting again.

Chateau Canet is a truly beautiful domaine in a gorgeous part of France. We loved this area and hope that we can go back again. Lots to do and see- Carcassonne, the Mediterranean Coast, lovely medieval villages, the canal du midi, I could go on and on! Mainly though, the holiday was made by the people who live and work...

This review is, regrettably a little late. My husband and I stayed at Chateau Canet for a week in April. We had a superb time. The location, hospitality, wine and accommodations were excellent. The grounds were beautiful and we had several nice walks around the vineyards. We appreciated the fact that the owners were anxious to see that we were...

We just ended a week holiday at Chateau Canet and had a great time. Our cottage was great and the kids loved the spacious bedroom. The vineyard, the wine cellar, swimming pool, playroom for the kids all was wonderful. The most appreciated part however was the service and friendliness of the owners and their staff. We cannot wait to re-visit...

I just returned from a short stay at Chateau Canet and had a great time. Victoria (and Charlotte) took amazing care of us. Our cottage was beautiful, the vineyard was truly spectacular with a wonderful and informative tour and tasting with Floris ; ) We would go back in a second. I cannot say enough good things.

Our family ended a two week vacation in France with a week long stay at Chateau Canet. It was the perfect way to end our travels. Everything was exceptional from the accommodations to the fresh croissants and baguettes that arrived each morning. Victoria and her team made everything easy. We explored the area on bikes, lounged by the pool, played...

Early November in southern France: the weather was not always perfect but the accommodation was. The Chateau is outside the charming and well-named village of Rustique, a short drive from the incredible city of Carcassonne. I traveled with a friend and we stayed at the Chateau for 4 days. Our apartment had a bedroom with a double bed, a loft...

We visited Chateau Canet in July and keep meaning to get round to leaving a review to sing its praises. Lovely stay for a very busy couple who wanted nothing more than to relax and not do very much! We were pleasantly surprised. There was more to offer than described on the website. This is the perfect place for families. Lots to do for kids:pool, tennis, games room and play room . The kids all get to know each other and always have someone to play with. The shared kitchen and BBQ area make up for the small kitchen.There...

Perfect for the 2nd week of our family holiday. Well described on their website with comfortable, nicely decorated and very clean cottages. We had Syrah, whilst small it was fine for 2 adults and 2 young children (4 and 7) in a bunkbed, with adequate inside and outside space. Well designed pool area and totally secure, however pool depth 1.5m...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Château Canet is a traditional and family run wine estate, recognized as one of the leading "domaines" of Minervois, Languedoc-Roussillon. Among the vines and olive plantations you will find a cluster of nine independent cottages all converted from original buildings and the Château itself. Within the grounds you will find plenty to keep the whole family occupied including a swimming pool, tennis courts and children’s play room. While on holiday here you can explore the vineyards, hike through miles of private countryside following herb-scented trails or use one of the estate's bikes and venture further afield, along the peaceful country roads surrounding the estate. ... more   less
