First off, don't expect it as a hotel or resort., etc. it's is a rundown bed and bath. But that's not what you're there for. You are there for the ghost hunt. We had two paranormal guides for the evening, and even after the scheduled tour time was done, Mike offered to stay up late and take us in teeny...

I came here to celebrate my best friend's birthday and it was great! Teresa, the staff member, was so sweet! She took care of us and made us feel welcome! The paranormal investigation was also so much fun. We enjoyed ourselves the whole time. Jerica and Mike, our investigators, really knew what they were doing! Take my advice and make...

The Shanley Hotel is an experience not a luxury resort, and I will always prefer the experience. I slept in Anna's room in the bordello and found the bed comfortable, the room clean and "pennies from heaven" (more later on this). I also truly enjoyed the shower. It has a hand held nozzle and 3 showering positions. 2 standing and...

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday . They give you some ghost hunting equipment and explained how to use them. They also give some history about the hotel and they have a book with newspaper clippings . He loved it and wants to go again!

Went with several friends and had a great time. We went there knowing we were not going to a 7 star hotel. We were greeted by two of the investigators upon arrival. They explained a lot of the history of the hotel. And explained what to expect over the night. They had light snacks, coffee tea, hot chocolate and water....

Hotel is a great historical landmark, however it could use some aesthetic work on the outside. Arrived a little early, the hostess/coordinator got there late (her words). Theresa's face might have cracked had she attempted a smile. Neither one not personable or professional at all. Room not attractively decorated; cheap, contemporary junk which disappointingly did not coincide w/the age of...

But left early the 2nd time. It bothers me to write this review in the wake of Sal's passing. Stayed the first time with my wife. Met some folks that I have continued to keep contact with and had an absolute fantastic time. I still have the evp's from the bordello, unreal. I took my son who was 12 on...

Stayed at the Shanley last weekend with a group of friends. We enjoyed our time there. Is it haunted? well here are some of the things I personally experienced. I had Anna's room in the bordello. I wanted to go and check it out alone so I went in and was recording a video as I walked up the stairs..I...
