Food comes out prepared as ordered - portions are generous. Staff is very hospitable. Proprietor comes around to the table to make sure everything is satisfactory. Everyone in party thought food was good. Would recommend.
We took a little road trip on a Saturday in April & decided to stop by the Narrowburg Inn, as we knew the Manager. It doesn't open until 3:00, so we visited a few of the antique shops in the area. Let me say, it's worth the trip! Alison & her husband were our hosts & gave us the tour. If you find yourself in the area & need to stay over, they have several rooms upstairs for rent. Each one is done in antiques and very simple, no TV's. The rooms are all clean and unique. As for dining, there are a few dining areas, we opted to sit at the bar. That in itself is done very nicely, having an Adirondack look to it. The menu is simple but excellent variety. Since we had been customers of Alison's before this restaurant, she knew what we like & offered to fix it, even though it wasn't on the menu. The salads were made up fresh, the rolls warm. My husband picked the chicken parm off the menu-it was excellent & the portion was substantial. For me, she had the chef prepare Alfredo over angel hair pasta, topped with a grilled chicken breast with a thin layer of spinach over that, as well as steamed broccoli on the side. Again, a substantial portion. We went home with half our meals! The town is pretty small & not a lot to do, but the Narrowsburg Inn makes it worth the trip. It is a great stop for a delicious meal & good conversation with the hosts, Alison & her husband. I'm hearing that during the summer season, the Inn is THE place to be!! (Outside dining).…
For the 2nd time in two months, we went to the Narrowsburg Inn and had the "build a burger." They are the best!! We've also had the boneless wings which are fabulous and you have to try the fried green beans - yum! Service was great! Highly recommend!
First visit since new owner. Staff was very friendly and polite and service was great! We had chicken parm and chicken francese. They were ok, but would have liked if the chicken cutlets had been pounded thin. Side of broccoli didn't have much flavor. I am looking forward to going back and trying the wings.
While visiting from Florida my wife and I were going to meet old friends for drinks we were very early and decided to have dinner. Menu only had a few items but the quality, service and price were great. Enjoyed our dinner and had drinks on the back patio..
