I absolutely loved staying here. The linens, the soaking clawfoot tub, the comfort of the bed, the interior design - all swoon-worthy. Also right down the street from the Heron, which is an amazing restaurant (you might need reservations!). Cute antique stores nearby and hiking in the area. So lovely.
My wife and I have stayed with at Nest twice while our house was being built in nearby Luxton Lake. Her rooms are simply but elegantly decorated and perfectly appointed for a weekend stay in Narrowsburg. Across the street from restaurants and bars with easy parking and even some nice outdoor space if the weather is nice. Anna is a gracious and accommodating host! She also owns a homegoods store and showcases her product at the inn.
My girlfriend and I spent the Fourth of July weekend here. Upon booking, Anna (the owner), offered to make a reservation for us at The Heron, a fantastic restaurant down the street. Anna was very responsive to emails before, during, and even after our stay. We stayed in a second floor room with a king-sized bed. The room was spotless when we arrived, and if you're into mid-century influenced design, you'll be pleased. The private bathroom was spacious, and the bed comfortable. Nest Inn is in as good of a location as it gets. It's a two minute walk to Main St (you'll find Anna's store Nest at Narrowsburg, The Heron, a coffee shop, One Grand Books, etc) and the Delaware River. Maison Bergogne, an antique shop is literally next door, further down the road you'll find the Tusten Theatre. The Tusten Mountain Trail is an approximately 15 minute drive from the inn. Other stuff: The entryway is well decorated with access to complementary coffee (Keurig), tea, and bottled water. Towels can be provided if you plan on any sort of water activities. Wi-fi is free. There is off-street (outdoor) parking in the back, and small outside lounge space. We had a great stay and will definitely return.…
We were recommended the inn through a friend of a friend who knows the owners. This was my first time in Narrowsburg, and it is as much of a getaway town as they come, with friendly shop owners and a picturesq background landscape surrounding the Delaware River. The Nest Inn is quaintly nestled (lol) on top of the hill right near town, overlooking the river. And notably, it is around the block from the Heron (seriously some of the best cuisine I ever had). For the outdoorsy people the town has neighboring areas where you can go rafting, canoeing, hiking or horseback riding. Or if you are staying at the Nest Inn you can take a luxurious bath 3 times a day. The rooms have gorgeous bathtubs with salts and delicious shampoo (no like - really great smelling.) The decor was chosen carefully and purposefully, resulting in a venerable feeling of tranquil elegance. I literally would look around and feel cheery perfection. It had a comfortable king size bed, a mini-fridge, water bottles, candles, playing cards, a bluetooth music player - fully loaded for doing just about nothing in relaxation. The little inn was so pleasant that it felt like coming home after our hike. (FYI - we did the 10 mile River Hike, its about 15 minutes away at the Stone Bridge and it was awesome.) Newly renovated too. Please look at the photographs, I am not sure I did it justice. Peer into the Nest and get the hell out of NYC for a while.…
