Recently my husband Jeff and I traveled from California to experience Fall foliage in Lake MInnewaska near New Paltz. We stayed at Maplestone, a lovely stone house with all the amenities and lush grounds as well and felt we were home! Our innkeepers, Sean and Patty were delightful and warm. Patty delivered luscious breakfasts to kick start our day everyday....

I can make this really simple: stay here. For those who need more convincing: Maplestone manages to strike the perfect balance in countless ways. The inn itself is immaculate and pristine yet warm and inviting. The food is beautifully and artfully presented, tasty and interesting yet simple, broadly appealing and decidedly un-fussy. Sean and Patty are the consummate hosts, friendly...

Sean and Patty were amazing hosts! It was raining the night we showed up and they were there waiting by the car with an umbrella. To say their home and grounds were beautiful is an understatement. We stayed in the Hunter room on the main floor. The room was lovely and offered a warm and relaxed atmosphere. We had a...

Patty and Sean couldn't have been better hosts. The rooms were absolutely lovely (I stayed in "Hunter" on the ground floor). My room was spacious, nicely decorated and exceedingly comfortable. Good reading chair, terrific king-sized bed with more than enough pillows for lounging. Also blessed with beautiful weather so I had the sliding glass doors open to the porch many...

From the minute we contacted Sean and Patty, we knew we made the right choice! They were incredibly helpful via email in preparing for our stay, including accommodating our specific dietary needs. We arrived later than expected on our first night, and they couldn't have been more gracious and welcoming. Both mornings they created an incredibly relaxing atmosphere for us...

We loved our stay at the Maplestone Inn. Hosts Sean and Patty were warm and inviting. The breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. We stayed in the Tucker Room, enjoyed the soaking tub and gas fire stove. On our second day we encountered an ice storm so we returned to the hotel earlier than planned. Our hosts could not have been...

My daughter and I stayed for one night and were very happy with the gorgeous home and the wonderful hosts. Breakfast was delicious (they had everything including gluten free, homemade, local produce, local sausage, etc. over the top!) I highly recommend this spot.

My husband and I have been going to this wonderful B&B for 5 years. We love New Paltz and visit the town a least 3 times a year. Once we found the Maplestone Inn, we knew we found "home." We love the owners, Patty and Sean. They welcome us back each time we return with open arms. There are 3...

This inn is amazing! It is beautiful and homey. Every inch of the inn was thoughtfully decorated and the innkeepers go out of their way to make your trip incredible. They also really know how to make breakfast. I was so impressed with it, especially because they catered to all my weird allergies. I could not recommend this inn enough.
