Hotel NoMa, Trademark Collection by Wyndham, elicits a range of opinions from its guests. While the cleanliness and comfortable beds are often highlighted, the limited availability of hangers and disturbances from loud music are notable drawbacks. Guests have experienced mixed service quality, ranging from attentive to unresponsive.
The presence of a nightclub contributes to a noisy atmosphere, impacting sleep for those in certain rooms. Additionally, unexpected fees, such as the 'Boutique Fee' and parking charges, have left some guests feeling the value proposition could be improved.

Detailed Reviews
To me this is your typical roadside hotel. It was fine. Nothing extraordinary, but usable for what we needed it for. I would never book here unless we were in town for a family event or business. It’s not the place I would stay for leisure. The restaurant is not open during the week, coffee is hard to come by except in the room which is not good. And no bottled water was available except in the vending machine for two dollars each.

The room on the 5th floor was large and well appointed. But just so you know - it is not the Ritz. The bathtub was spotted with debris that was quickly dealt with but I have no idea where it came from. We were in New Rochelle for a family event and I dealt with Genesis and Glenia in reservations and they were great. Thanks to you both. The restaurant that served us breakfast was really good and VERY accommodating. They were great and a pleasure.
It is true the club on the 1st floor is quite busy, and from above there was a club that was quite loud. Bring a fan to create white noise since the a/c fan is not loud enough when the compressor stops. There was a lot of pot smoking from 1 of the rooms or from the fire escape and that did not help things.
This time of year they inexplicably close the pool (it was only about 85 degrees) and they guard the pool as if it is filled with money. It was nice and cold until the prison guard at the front desk came running out screaming that it was closed. No sign and there is a key lock on the door that probably does not work. He looked and sounded like an idiot - and I pointed out to him they could do a better job of monitoring the cars parked in handicapped parking spots and the pot smokers in the rooms and fire escape.
All this to say it did exceed my expectations and all things considered it was a good stay.

The hotel was clean and front desk staff very attentive. The reason I gave only middle marks is that there appeared to be only one guest elevator working. That may indicate a low level of important maintenance. The room had a refrigerator and one had to ask front desk for a microwave to be brought to the room. It took an hour and a half from requesting the microwave for it to be delivered to the room.

The rooms are quite comfortable, the accommodations were very clean and the staff was fantastic.
You are greeted warmly, almost exuberantly, no matter who is manning the front desk.
The staff had great recommendations for places to eat and things to do and see. The location of the hotel is very central within easy walking distance to local attractions.
The hotel has an array of activities onsite during the week. The restaurant NoMa Social has a very diverse, and social conscientious menu, modestly priced.
Glenia Rojas, Director of sales and Debra Hosein Banquet Director, are both Passionate, have Integrity and possess a Positive Attitude. They enthusiastically embrace change, and always adjust to whatever tough challenges lie ahead. They think strategically and strive to understand each client’s needs.

During our wedding planning process, finding a hotel in the same location as our wedding venue with a restaurant in the lobby was the ultimate goal, and we found it at the Radisson Hotel New Rochelle. Serena and Nina's professionalism during the planning process was so helpful and supportive. We were able to secure all the rooms needed and keep updated on our hotel block. In addition, we planned our welcome reception for our bridal party at NOMA, and we had great service there as well. We enjoyed the food, and the hospitality of the servers. All of our guests enjoyed the hospitality of the hotel and were thankful for their helpfulness during wedding weekend.

My husband is in a wheelchair but they were unable to give me a wheelchair accessible room because there was going to be a DJ that night until 2am and the only room with accommodations was on the 2nd floor and it would be loud. But the worst part of our stay was the terrible experience we had for both supper and breakfast at the restaurant on the property. The American Breakfast (which was included in the price we paid for the room) did NOT include coffee, tea and juice! We left disgusted.

The hotel smelled like marijuana. There were people entering the hotel knocking on a room door, entering and then leaving shortly after. Elevators should be locked from non guest use to prevent whatever was happening in that room. The bartender should have interrupted some very loud and inappropriate conversations that some regulars (bartender knew their names) were having at the bar. It was disgusting and resulted in me not ordering any additional food or drinks and leaving well before I normally would have. Guests should be told that breakfast is not a buffet.

Truly one of the worst hotels I've stayed at. You can’t slap some neon lights on an old dingy hotel and suddenly it becomes boutique.
The bathroom in the room was gross. Not only was it tiny and oddly shaped, but some of the veneer was coming off of the sink cabinet and there was an odd film in the sink - as if it was cleaned with the wrong chemicals. The toilet paper was also about 6” off the ground so at least you got some stretching in whenever you needed to wipe.
The room only came with two clothes hangers and when I called down to the front desk for more, they came back with two and said that was all they had. What?
There was a half used water bottle left in my fridge. If that’s the cleaning standard, what else didn’t get touched between guests…?
The location is okay as long as you’re okay walking 10 minutes to get anywhere. It is NOISY between the traffic, the paper thin walls, and the nightclub downstairs that went until midnight (and could be heard on the top floor!)
Finally, they tack on this “Boutique Fee” that they don’t tell you about in advance. When I asked the front desk person said that it was for “the services of the hotel, like the restaurant.” When I asked him to take it off he said that I was welcome to speak with a manager later but that there wasn’t a manager on site. On a Sunday. During a busy check out period. I’ll certainly be bringing it up with my credit card and filing a complaint with the AG about a deceptive fee being added and not disclosed.
Stay away from this hotel.

I just stayed at the Radisson in New Rochelle, NY, and was very disappointed with my experience. The minute my husband and I got off the elevator to go to our room we were overcome by the smell of marijuana. Luckily, our room did not have any odor and was clean. But, each time we walked out of our room we could have got a contact high. Even after letting the front desk know the situation, nothing changed.
On Saturday night of our two night stay, the restaurant turned into a club and when we arrived back at the end of our evening there was no place to park. The valet took our car at no charge, but it was unclear how we would find our car the next morning (the valet worked until 3am) when we left for an early morning flight. The music from the “club” vibrated our room on the third floor of the building. The hallway, again, reeked, noise was on both sides of our room, and no relief was to be had. Overall, I would not recommend the Radisson.

We visited, in fact as I write this we are still here. We came to Radisson New Rochelle and mid way through our stay here they have changed the name of the hotel to No'Ma meaning North of Manhattan apparently. Some of the reception staff are not very helpful and don't appear to want to be, where as others are really helpful as far as they can be. At the time of the change of name of hotel the whole computer system was being changed over and we had to come back from our day out to find we were locked out of our room and the credit card details they took from us for any room charges had been lost so had to go through the whole rigmarole again and no explanation was given as to where our original card details were and who had access to them. Maid service in the room was minimal as she only did the bare minimum and regularly forgets to fill the tea, coffee and milk and certainly does not vac up or wipe around in the bathroom. Permanent smell of weed/skunk being smoked on the corridor and on occasions has made its way into our room with no intervention by reception staff to ask the perpetrator to stop smoking it. In all not the best experience and even more disappointing given the prices that they charged us for just room only 👎 won't be booking again even though we have reason to come here often 😔

Thank you for writing a review. It saddens us to hear that your stay was anything less than satisfying because of the cleanliness of the room, the service of our staff and the extra charges on your account during that visit. We understand the importance of having an accurate charge on your card should be and we are incredibly sorry that we may have missed the mark. We greatly value your feedback and it will be shared with our team for further improvements to our service. We look forward to having you back so that we may redeem ourselves and provide you with an even better guest experience.
