In need of new Management. The hotel is in great disrepair. It needs conscientious maintenance. Management needs to work on this facility daily to bring it back to minimum hotel and hospitality standards. Most of the issue's are common maintenance issues easily fixable by qualified handyman or a qualified facilities superintendent.
You name it and that's whats wrong with the olace..nothing good except the receptionist was very nice..didnt stay canceled my room and found another hotel..my visit was in 2019..oct.lost my hotel points to boot
For almost $90 and imagine this was one of the affordable hotels in this area. I checked in at night and this location has a scary movie setting, both inside and out. Signs everywhere for guests to wear masks, yet the staff including the receptionist (light skin guy with dreadlocks)NO MASK! No proper signs either for entrance/exit. This property has areas closed off because it’s really falling apart. No signs pointing to where the parking lot is either and the receptionist just give me my keys and said nothing else. It is a good thing I drove around before and saw it’s at the back of hotel, no signs pointing to the entrances into hotel from car park either. The room was horrible,NOT CLEANED, imagine this and we are in the middle of a pandemic, the bed I checked the sheets and I travel with my bug repellent spray so that’s the first thing I did, bed was clean but halfway made. All the furniture was sticky or damaged. I had to clean the bathroom otherwise I was going to have to lay a towel on the floor, no bath mat, the bath tub is such a liability someone had a bright idea to place linoleum type of material in the tub and it’s very slippery, the floor was so dirty and covered in hair I had to clean it and you will see the photos as proof, the bathroom was not cleaned and the bath towels seemed damp, I smelled them and unfolded to dry inspecting that the staff did not fold dirty towels leaving it for the next guest. My gut really was not settled, this room was not cleaned but I just needed the clean bed to sleep for the night, One light not working, the ceiling tile in the bathroom I had to pop back in, the door handle to the balcony was on the table, there was a metal bar to keep the door closed, the list goes on and on, the worst was the carpet in the room, it was so dirty and littered with small debris as if it was never vacuumed. I slept fine with the AC blasting. Woke up checked out, asked the receptionist about breakfast and she pointed to a bag that they made to go for guests, she was pleasant. Honestly, I think most people pick this hotel or super 8 in this location due to the price points, next time I would sound $20 more so it would be a more relaxing experience, it’s not worth it to stay here, this property is run down and ill maintained. I have traveled extensively and stayed in some of the poorest countries and let me tell you, those 2 stars hotels are 5 stars compared to this one. The fact that this is America you would expect better facilities! I wrote the manager to address the staff and non compliance of mask wearing, as you can guess, no response. I will not stay here again.…
One would think during COVID they would take extra care in cleaning. Just the opposite. The whole place is run down and needs repair, but old is one thing, dirty is another. The night table next to bed had sticky residue left from someone's food. Obviously not cleaned. Bathroom barely cleaned if at all. The tub was dirty and drained slow and had hair in it from previous guest. Toilet seat dirty. Hair on the floor and around the base of the toilet. Towel rack loose and coming away from the wall. Fan in bathroom was about the fall out of the ceiling. Exposed outlet under table by TV-very dangerous. The back of the remote was missing and the batteries were held in with cellophane and tape and we couldn't stop laughing. There were no towels or toilet paper in the room when we checked in. The lady at the front desk was nice and did bring us some. On a plus side the bed was comfortable, I'll give them that.…
Overall my fiancé and I enjoyed our stay. They lady that checked us in was very polite and knew the area well. The bathroom smelled a little funny but the bed was comfortable. The pillows however were NOT comfortable but the bed made up for it.
