The parkway prime steakhouse was delicious. The Mac and cheese with or without lobster was some of the best I’ve ever tasted. The chef prepared seasonal dishes with walnut crusted salmon with baked apples that was perfect for upstate New York in November. Burgers had a perfect char to them. Possibly the best restaurant in Niagara Falls!
Vacation with myself and two daughters (11 & 14). Check in was really easy and the gentlemen was friendly. The chocolate chip cookies at check in were amazing. My daughters loved the bathroom, particularly the stand up shower. 😂 Our room was a great size for us. What I loved about the hotel is when you walk to the back of the hotel, there is the path leading to the Falls. It was maybe 10min walk from hotel to the actual Falls. I can't really say bc we were always stopping to look around. Hotel has a restaurant and the hotel is close to other area restaurants and shops. Would definitely come back to this Hotel. It's in a great spot.
Great hotel, well situated. It's a DoubleTree so expect the same things you're used to see in others DT hotels, but this one comes with a nice pool, great view from the room, and impeccable service. The restaurant is also worth the value, with a nice and cosy atmosphere. I definitely recommend this hotel if you're visiting Niagara falls.
We came to Niagra Falls for our Honey Moon and we were not disappointed. The veiws were breath taking and our stay at the Double Tree couldn't have been better. A very friendly staff gave us a room.on the 9th floor with a river view. And the inhouse restaurant was fantastic. The food was superb. And our server Tina was awesome. If you don't stay here you're missing out.
If bad attitude has an address, it got to be at this hotel. The front desk staff just does not understand Hospitality. We requested for late checkout and are told $50 per hour!!!! The rate we paid for the room was $189. So, for 5 hours, we’re asked to pay $250. How does that make sense?? Greediness?? I shared that generally, it’s 50% of the room rate for few hours. This is what we paid at NYC, when we left there. I proposed the same however a very negative attitude was displayed. Take it or leave it!!! The issue was not just the rate but the attitude & expression of the staff member. It’s Oct 19th and a low reason. Understandable that the budget needs to be met, & have no issues with that. Ready to pay 50% extra. But how does one get over the the poor attitude of staff & greediness of management. Just not helpful!!! Posting after a long gap as the attitude really put the holiday down. Brands grow & just like other big brands, Hilton is hungry too to grow but Christopher Nassetta & his team need to do a lot of job if they wish to keep the services consistently up too. Will write to GM Kaitlin Smith & senior Hilton Mgt about this disappointment. Ashamed of Hilton brand!!! …
We will stay here again! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Double Tree! Only a short walk (maybe 10 minutes) to the falls and nearby places to eat and site see. We did not use our car for 2 days....everything was so close. The pool and fitness room was clean and enjoyable. Very nice fitness room. We enjoyed a river view with the balcony. The sunrises and sunsets were beautiful from there. The staff was friendly and helpful! We loved Margaret at the concierge and enjoyed our Gray Lines Tour with Bob. The front desk staff were above average in hospitality and housekeeping were helpful in where to go around town. Thank you for the cookies and bottles of water. Rent the electric scooters from Sitesee Rentals and spend 2 hours going up and down the river from Goat Island up to Whirlpool State Park! Worth the $$$$ Thank you to the hotel staff for such an amazing stay while visiting The Falls with my teenage son!…
We had a wonderful 2 night stay. Sarah, at check in, was very helpful and even provided us with warm cookies to take to our room. Nice room, climate control easy and not noisy, bed was comfortable. We ate both nights in the restaurant in the hotel. Bill, the bartender, and Tina our server, were both friendly and efficient.
Very nice hotel in Niagara Falls. Exceptional service by Bill (bartender), Sarah at check-in desk, and Tina, our server at dinner. The room was spacious, bed & linens very nice and comfortable. We loved having a couch and ottoman for extra space. Plenty of parking also, but cost $15 a day which seemed an unreasonable extra charge considering our two night stay was $525. Unlike the Hampton Inn next door, breakfast is not included, thus also extra cost and time required. Hotel is not by a highway, so no traffic noise which was nice. Tip: you have to request housekeeping service as it is not automatically done.
Only here for a night but very friendly staff and loved the food at breakfast. Quieter part of town away from the tourist activities but only a 10-15 minute walk to Falls and boat ride. Parking not free ut a better deal than paying at the Park
My husband and I stayed two nights at this hotel while exploring Niagara Falls. We we greeted by the front desk clerk ( Johanena) she was very friendly and polite and made us feel right at home. She gave us recommendations on things to do & places to eat. (Arkan) another staff member was also Very accommodating and friendly in helping my husband with rearranging the furniture to get a better view of the river in our executive suite(room was clean & comfy). The restaurant staffs were also great !
