Detailed Reviews
I love this hotel and would stay here again, If your planning a trip to Niagara falls ny american side then this is the best place to stay at. We got a 2 queen size bed room and they beds were very comfortable not too soft or hard . Very clean room and they followed the corona virus procedures , everyone was wearing masks, they offer free pick up at the buffalo international airport , then when you get here they give you if you ask for it free passes on all the buses including the trolley rides that take you to anywhere you want to go , and again for FREE!!!, You dont even need a rental car once your here, if you have a car its only minutes away from niagara falls, made of the mist , etc etc etc, they will give you free bottled water when you ask for it, and they also have free breakfast, if you dont like that dennys is right next door in walking distance and so is starbucks and dunking donuts, up the street is this fantastic ice cream shop Di dees dairy and I got a medium cup of ice cream for 4 bucks and tis was like 4 large scoops of ice cream and they had all the flavors, you must check out zaikai indian restaurant while your here the food is awesome . for free you can go to horseshoe falls, 3 sisters islands , and the park and check out the power station for free you can take the elevator down and then there is a path you can walk along that all take you to the river, Make sure to do maid of the mist and cave of the winds you can stand under the falls , also go to whirlpool jet boat tours and sit in front and prepare to get soak and wet ,wear boat shoes and bring a change of clothes and towel , Everyone kept telling me that canadian side is better and thats a lie, there is so much to do over here on the american side and you can get around for free, great vacation we came and stayed here for 5 nights 6days and flew round trip from hartford ct and got a rental and hotel at microtel all for 950.00 for two people , Must do vacation

The room was fine, though it smelled musty when we entered, probably because it had been closed up with the thermostat off, saying the temp was 75. Turning the a/c on fixed that after a few minutes, though the main hallway always smelled stale.
Breakfast was okay, eggs, sausages, waffle maker and pancakes were the hot items, plus a toaster for bagels and toast. Cereals, yogurt, coffee and tea rounded it out. Not bad, not exceptional either. My wife didn’t like the eggs, which were just passable for me with hot sauce I'd brought.
We appreciated having a fridge (with small freezer) and microwave oven.
The place was pretty quiet and most everything was clean. It wasn't cheap at $220 per night off-season, but we didn’t have bedbugs either!
Our only minor issue was that we had 2 queen beds in the room and both had a single, thin blanket, with no extra in the closet. We like to sleep in a cool temp, so I had to strip the blanket from the other bed to be warm. I felt badly making extra work to make up the bed we didn't use.

This hotel may have a bit smaller room, but it is large in service and value. The check in desk people are helpful and professional. The room itself was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The hot breakfast was well supplied and offered scrambled eggs, pancakes and sausage plus many other selections. It is in a good location to visit Niagara Falls - only 10 minutes away by car. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again. Thanks!

Asked if we could do our laundry there and the woman on reception said it was fine. So we went and got our laundry and gave her $10 in exchange for quarters. Once we got up there we put our washing in the machine and put in $2… nothing happened. So we tried again because it might have just not worked the first time. Again it didn’t work, I went down to the front desk to ask them to help and the fuse had blown so they switched it on and then the machine was asking for $2 more and so I said to the man about what happened and how we had already put $4 into this machine and so could we have it back and he told me that he didn’t believe me and I was lying. When I told him that I wasn’t lying and we used my friends quarters before going into the packet we had gotten from them he again said I was lying and trying to steal from him. I told him not to worry about it and then he told us to leave because we were just trying to scam him and we were going to break his machines. This man was shouting in my face and frankly not caring as to what I had to say. Overall a very rude man and a horrible experience.

I felt very unsafe in this hotel. I asked for a key card and was given one on spot with ID or giving my name.
Neighboring rooms kept trying to get in my room from hallway door and connecting door. I called the front desk, and let him know my name and room number, to ask him to politely let the other rooms know this was not one of theirs. 15-20 minutes of the same commotion going on of trying to get into my room
…the man from the desk opens my room door to let the remaining family from the other rooms in!
No apologies
Nothing
Beware

Staffs were accommodating and helpful, very smooth experience from check in to check out. We enjoyed the breakfast, decent amount of choices. We booked two rooms for 4 adults and a child they gave both rooms next to each other with a door in between which was very convenient for us.

I am disabled and cannot access the bathtub. As soon as they found out, they upgraded the roll in shower room at no extra cost and thank you for making us feel at home at all times. Definitely stay again.

Wonderful service and accomodations. Check-in was fast and easy. When we needed extra towels and shampoo, they were provided with a smile. Location was great for a visit to Niagara Falls. Located near a variety of restaurants and markets.

I checked into my room and found blood stains on my sheets. When I reported to the hotel manager, he just had me come down stairs, and he handed me a bottom and top sheet to replace my own bed with. Did not come to me, did not change rooms, and did not replace my sheets. The manager acted like it was perfectly usual to the hotel that my sheets had blood stains on them, and obviously were not replaced by the hotel staff before check in, which they made me wait for. Also, the walls are PAPER THIN. You can hear if the neighbor is talking. You can hear their TV. Which of course sucks if you’re trying to sleep.

I do not remember, if there was, we did not use it.

Hotel does not have shuttle service. From Amtrak station, most likely 25 minute ride to hotel, pending traffic. Uber is your best bet if you really want to stay there.
You can take the Niagara Falls trolley to the falls. The hotel never mentioned it but I happened to notice it when I walked over to target and seen people waiting for the it. The trolley says to ask your hotel for free day passes for the bus or you can pay the the couple bucks it costs for a day pass. I found a PDF online with the route and schedule. The trolley doesn't go onto goat island but it would be just a short walk or I believe there is another shuttle that does just the falls area and does have a couple of stops on goat island.
