Whilst on a weeks vacation in New York, and staying at the Midtown Hilton, which has not exceeded my 1* expectations. We decided to drive up to Niagara Falls and booked a night in the ‘Comfort Suite Hotel’.
On arrival the receptionist was upbeat and friendly (something we had yet to get in MHNY). She checked us in, informed us there was complimentary hot drinks available 24/7 ( again nothing like this available in the MHNY).
On entry to our room I was amazed to find 2 double beds, fridge, microwave, kettle and more complimentary tea/coffee etc.
We investigated a night tour of the falls, and whilst checking the Hotel address with the receptionist, she said you don’t need to book a tour you can just drive up and watch the fireworks from the park! Result.
Having spent 4 disappointing days in what is supposed to be an upmarket NY hotel, I have found this short stay here in Niagara to be a refreshing and uplifting experience.
Looking for a family style, but group hotel, the this is the one for you.

The best part about this hotel was it's location. It backed up to the Niagara Falls State Park so it was easy to walk there as well as its proximity to the food trucks and shops in the city. We liked that you could park your own car as opposed to valet parking. It was easy to come and go. As far as the actual hotel is concerned, it was clean and the staff was pleasant, both of which we appreciated. The downside is the breakfast was a breakfast sandwich and a bag with a piece of fruit/muffin or danish. We enjoyed this hotel very much but I will say the worst part about it was the coffee. There was no 24-hour coffee available. There was a coffeepot in the room with coffee packets and when breakfast was served starting at 7:00am, there was coffee served then but both the in-room coffee and the breakfast room coffee was the worst coffee I think I've ever had...and I'm not picky. The good news is there is a coffee shop within short walking distance, The Spot, that offers a great coffee selection as well as breakfast, brunch sandwiches, desserts and most anything you'd like to eat from a coffee shop. It was beautifully decorated with fun seating.

Almost perfect.....Check in was amazingly friendly with "Asha" ( sorry if I'm saying it wrong girl ) Room, beds, sink area bathtub area and balcony were all pristine clean. The tub is extremely slippery though and unsafe so we had to put a hand towel in bottom for safety. The breakfast room was extremely overpacked and no way to social distance getting food. I was getting some eggs and another person came and grabbed the other tongs and got sausages while I was getting eggs. I told her that was unnecessary and could've waited for me to get mine, but she swore at me and walked away. I then got silverware and sat down unknown that my silverware was all dirty and previously used. I went and looked and found dirty dishes and silverware at one end of room on counters next to cereal and muffins. Neither should even be stacked up there. All dirty dishes and utensils should be put in secondary room where staff were standing or in a bin so guests know so they don't put food on dirty plates and use dirty utensils. I know who to blame abd file against if I get any sickness. With cross contamination and covid-19 previous used dishes should be completely separate from guests and food

Our stay started off with a room that was 96F and a broken phone. We were immediately given another room. On the second night in our room we discovered we had a new colony of ants living with us. At this point we hadn't eaten in our 3rd floor room. There were no other rooms available and that was our last night so we just did our best.
The staff were great and tried their best but I don't appreciate being told I'd receive a larger discount to then have the manager never contact us about what went on to cut it in half of what was originally offered. Had to get our booking website involved to get a response from them.
Pros: Location is near many shopping areas and not far from the border Breakfast wasn't bad at all and sufficient for a family with kids Staff were very attentive and trying their best other than manager TV has a decent channel selection
Cons: No views other then a Home Depot Cleanliness clearly an issue Hallways other then main level are all very muggy Pool is much smaller than you think Manager doesn't honour what staff offered One bed is a foot away from large air conditioning unit

The hotel was easy to see and get to from the highway, the front desk staff was helpful, the room was clean, the sheets were wrinkled but they didn't seem dirty so it didn't bother me, the mattress was very comfortable. The walls are a little bit thin so you can hear people in the rooms next to you but it didn't impact my sleep. Breakfast was typical, they had eggs, breakfast meat and yogurt. The pool was heated which is always pleasant. The fitness room looked clean. If I ended up back in the area I'd definitely stay again!

This hotel fills all my requests: good reviews, free parking, breakfast included, pool, and in a safe area. This hotel was a decent last minute find. We decided to go away for a night when we were getting ready for work. We booked at 9am and arrived at 5:30pm after work the same day. The hotel is clean but there was a strong odor when we arrived. Indescribable - clean perfume product type of odor. We were on the 4th floor king suite. The room was clean, including the couch. Some aging was noticed on the ceiling. The furnace/cooling unit was loud making sleep difficult. The pillows for the bed were small making it challenging to get comfortable. The bed itself was cozy. Great tv selections including free HBO. This hotel was in a perfect location in proximity to the outlet mall, the falls, restaurants, and the Canadian border (like, 5 minutes!) However the walls are super thin. No fault of the hotel staff whatsoever but the guests in the room next to us blared their music at 7am. When we called the front desk the staff rectified it immediately. Our room was literally facing the elevators so we did hear guests coming and going at all hours. The elevator chimes were evident and we can live with that. Again, not the fault of the hotel staff but I wish guests had manners and used their indoor voices after 10pm. We would not hesitate to book here again. We had a good stay, especially given it was last minute.

My family of 4 stayed here at the end of July. The room was clean, water hot, and they have a really cool pool area. But above all else, the staff here is amazing! And shame on me I didn’t get the gentleman’s name at the front desk so I could shout him out. But this gentleman made a point to say hello and have a good day to every guest that walked past. I was looking for some information about ezpass and he was more than helpful. The pool area here is cool because they have doors that open up so you can sit outside but still watch the kids. One of the coolest pool areas I’ve ever seen at a hotel. The breakfast was busy but the staff kept everything stocked and moved like ninjas. They were also very polite and accommodating towards other guests and some special requests. The staff here makes this place stand out like no other hotel I’ve ever been to. When I travel back to Niagara I know where I’m staying from now on.

Very small room for the price, poor breakfast, breads exhausted this morning during breakfast,no refill. Room not cleaned even though it was requested to house keeping staff while leaving the room,no house keeping available after 3 pm says the front desk. Requested to provide trash bags and fresh towels, had to wait an hour.

Nice place. Very comfortable beds (was tough to get out of bed). Which helped cause I was sore after a day of walking. Very safe area.
Breakfast was quite ample and a great attendant who kept it well stocked. Pantry area for snacks also had a few gift items for sale.
The only suggestion is the front desk agents should really stand when checking in/out guests.

Great location and really clean property. We had a wonderful stay, enjoyed the free breakfast, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast can get crowded around 8:30 am so we would get there by 8:00 am and found empty seats and full pans!
