Stayed at this cute little motel for a shopping trip. Very close to the Military Road outlets.
Owners were very friendly. Room was bare bones, but had a mini fridge and microwave. There are no phones in any of the rooms. Room was very clean. There was a pool on the property, but hadn’t been opened for the season.

Our family stayed 2 nights. The owners were very nice. We were looking for an economic place to stay, and we were quite satisfied :) There were some moderate updates.
It was a short drive from the Falls and was a bit outside the most touristy bits.

The hotel is very old and dated. Rooms and bathrooms are small. No coffee maker in the room. Honesty for a cheap hotel it does the trick. Nice and close to all the shopping and restaurants.
The room was very clean just outdated.
There was a family staying there in the back corner and one of their kids was sitting outside my door at 730-8 in the morning watching videos with it blaring! Was not impressed!
Overall not bad for a cheap hotel.

First, what made this a great stay was the customer service. I was called directly to confirm my arrival time as it was getting a bit late. Management calmed me by informing me that they will stay and await my arrival. This was awesome! Beyond that, each day my room was serviced and each day someone went out of their way to check in with me. While the rooms were something you would expect for the price and type of stay, they were clean, fully stocked, nothing was broken or out of place and above all, when I did need an extra set of towels, management literally stopped what they were doing and assisted me. Finally, when I was leaving, I was offered some coffee (even though breakfast was not provided) and I was pointed in the direction of good eats for good prices! The area was quiet and not far from the main attractions in the Falls. I will definitely stay again.

The room was unsanitary. There was hair in the bathroom and on the bed. The bathroom obviously had not been cleaned as evidenced by the various remnants of a previous guest. My wife attempted to wipe it down. There was dirt in the dresser drawer that my wife also cleaned up. There was a pink/red stain on the white sheet on the bed. Rude Customer Service: When I addressed the issue with the night manager, she tried to escalate an argument. I never had a chance to tell her that the toilet was not secured to the floor. It moved when I sat on it. I took my family to another hotel that night. Before leaving, I tried to explain to the night manager that I will pay for the night, but I should not have to pay for the second night. The issue was not resolved. Since I booked the room through Hotel Planner, I had to submit my issue with them, which I did the following morning, which was Saturday. I was then informed that I had to wait until Monday afternoon for the daytime manager to settle this issue. On Monday afternoon, the daytime manager was unavailable. Hotel Planner continues to be an advocate on my behalf. Bottom Line: I feel like the people who run Swiss Cottage Inn are unprofessional. From my point of view, they do not want to resolve this issue or accommodate the customer in any way.

So my boyfriend and I arrived at maybe 3pm, a little after our available check in time. Now I know that we’re fairly young (early 20’s), so I guess that meant we didn’t deserve the time of day when we checked in. The lady was dismissive and rude. The room we got had quite literally zero outlets for you to use. We had to share one outlet after unplugging the lamp, the other one was used for the barely functional AC.
Overall, it’s a cheap place to stay. Its very close to a lot of places to shop and not far from the state park. But there’s a reason you’re only paying so much for the visit— you’ll receive the bare minimum.

The managers received us in a friendly manner. They patiently answered our many questions. The room was perfect for us. We stayed 3 nights. The room was very clean when we arrived and cleaned daily. It was quiet and we felt safe. Swimming pool was also very clean. We had all the amenities we needed, free shuttle to any where you need to go in town until midnight, minutes away from the falls, restaurants, fast food, everything you need. 30 minutes from BUF airport. You may think the bathroom is a little small but if I ever visit Niagara again, I will STAY IN THIS HOTEL. I was 100% pleased.

Friendly folks running the place. Easy check in. Pool and property was very clean. Our room was very clean and cleaned daily. I find big chains aren't doing this "amid covid". We were close to the falls but out enough that it was quiet and we felt safe. The only downside was the small bathroom but it worked. I will definitely stay here again if we return to the falls.

Hotel could use updates. I didn't find free wifi on my phone. The front desk had no free coffee. The pool had leaves and need some cleaning. The lady at desk spoke English as a second language. I was over charged by the third party by $30. I recommend do not use third party call the hotel directly.

Small, very clean, and comfortable. The staff are super nice. It’s an older property, but well maintained. If you’re looking for a comfortable, clean place to sleep for a good value, this is it. I really like this place! I’ll DEFINITELY be back.
