The Best Western Summit Inn garners appreciation for its strategic location close to shopping and dining options, as well as the airport, and guests enjoy the complimentary parking. The large pool and free breakfast also contribute positively to the experience. Cleanliness is a standout feature, with the property receiving accolades for its spotless rooms and public areas.
However, the hotel's value proposition receives criticism due to perceived overcharging and lackluster room conditions. Guests report a range of service experiences, from commendable staff interactions to disappointing service that requires management attention.

We stayed 3 nights in adjoining rooms while visiting the falls. The rooms were clean and comfortable..a nice home base. The bathrooms were sparkling clean with plenty of towels. We did not use the pool, but it looked amazing. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices and places to sit, and they served until 11 each day. We enjoyed our trip to Niagara Falls.

I visited Niagara fall in November first week. After reaching there, I stayed in Best western Summit Inn in New York. This hotel is close to the fashion outlet of Niagara Falls. I wanted to stay in a hotel near to my destination location, Old Fort Niagara and Niagara Falls. Accessing shopping centers, local restaurants, and entertainment options is very easy. Best Western Summit Inn is a well-furnished hotel with air-conditioning, free parking, 24 hours front desk, and a non-smoking room. I got facilities like a swimming pool, gym, huge and fully loaded dining area. Cook and staff were trained. Food and rooms were upgraded. I would have been more than happy If I could get some more space in my apartment. But it's not costly & worth my expenses.

hello,
I just been travelling with my two daughter in august to Niagara falls. We stayed at Niagara falls on the American site. WE loved our hotel, the pool, I could do laundry , free parking. Is just when I booked the place in April of this year , the price included hot breakfast. I understand Covid-19 guidelines but I feel like some more could have been done then just wrapped up muffin, banana or apple option and yogurt. Of course there was a coffee or tea and orange juice. But when you travel with two kids and planning all day at Niagara falls to go sightsiing I was looking for little more when that. YOu can buy invdiviually wrapped cereal or oatmeals and have a milk next to it . The dining room was big enough people could make distance as I think they would. I was dissapointed. Luckily I had my own cheerios and oatmeals made nice breakfast in our room
other wise all was good

After my wife and I having been loyal customers of this location several times a year for the last 12 years, it’s unfortunate that they have gotten to the point where we will be looking elsewhere from now on.
Traveling from Canada when we were finally able to, again, we were saddened to hear that they no longer provide housekeeping service( which is usually a staple of the hospitality industry ) they always had , and we were always impressed with the quality and tipped the staff very well upon leaving.
However, the first time back in the post travel restrictions era, we were told we could “ request” housekeeping . We assumed this was for the peace of mind of any customers who didn’t want it.
We requested it , but it was no more than simply making the bed haphazardly and changing the towels.
This time, when asked, they claimed they were “ much too busy to provide housekeeping for anyone other than the construction workers.”
So.. we are paying over $400 to stay in a small room with a mini fridge for 3 nights, and have to “ throw the towels outside the door and go get fresh ones from the front counter every morning, as well as make the bed, tidy the room and clean the sink and counter every morning .
Not the end of the world, for sure, but when there are quality hotels offering these services in the area, why would we spend our money here?
It’s like the restrictions of service during Covid showed them how much money they were saving by not having a housekeeping staff , and they decided to keep it that way
Sad.

It is unfortunate you were dissatisfied with your stay. However, front desk did advise you we would try to accommodate you if it was possible. Also, again the front desk did accommodate you, in regards to giving you an entire refund due to other alleged issues. In which, I did not refuse to speak with you on my day off. In fact, I was 5 minutes from the hotel and advised my front desk staff as much. It is unfortunate that you wish to longer stay with us, but we thank you and appreciate you for your business over the years.

Please don’t waste your time and money here. We rented two nights for $318, but stayed only one night (6 hours), rushed out the next morning, sacrificing $160 — it was that bad. First, there was an awful damp/musty smell. There were also stains in the halls and in our window curtains, and headboard, not enough lights, bathroom arrangements were ‘off’. This was the first time we felt dirty even after shower (LOL).The overall atmosphere felt cold, dark, boring and bland.
The quality we received isn’t worth the money. Only the front desk/ entrance looked renovated and cleaned but the entire hotel needs a serious renovation and maintenance as well…….then, they can charge people this much money.
We learned from the front desk employee that the owner himself was cleaning these rooms due to employee shortage. We understand the current labor shortage situation but don’t understand why this hotel was charging so much for crappy business.
We moved to Hampton Inn Lockport/ Buffalo which is also a 2-star hotel but worth every penny we paid ($203).

Had a great stay. The breakfast here was amazing. Staff were helpful and nice. The room rate is a little bit expensive for the area and location. It is located very close to the Niagara Falls IAG airport With our stay at this hotel, they allowed us to park our car here instead of paying big parking charges at the airport. Has a swimming pool but we didn’t get a chance to use it.

We travel a lot, and when we can, we choose BW hotels. This hotel was a little different than the typical BW's we stay at. Apparently, it was a convention type center at some point? The first-floor halls towards our room had several ramps, the carpet was worn enough that it rolled making it difficult to push the luggage cart.
I will say the front desk clerk the evening of our arrival on 7/30/22 was pleasant, although she did not recognize us as Diamond Reward members, she was quick to ensure we were registered for all possible points. We did not receive a Diamond thank you for staying gift either. She did, however, provide us with a list of local restaurant options and answered all of our questions,
Our room had an odor to it, which was concerning for me. It basically smelled like a very old building. When we ran the a/c unit it caused the room to feel damp. The lighting in the bathroom area was rather dim, which resulted in a led lamp purchase for us so I could see how to dry my hair properly. Our a/c unit was dusty as well.
The beds were comfortable, the breakfast area very large and the attendants kept it well stocked. The room itself was spacious.
One of the main reasons we selected this hotel is due to my allergies, I cannot stay in hotels that allow pets. This particular location does not accept pets.
This seems to be a very busy hotel. It did bother me the rates even for BW members was so high, granted it was weekend nights - but almost $500.00 for 2 nights is a bit much considering the appearance of this hotel.
If in the area to visit Niagara would I stay at this location again, maybe. A lot will depend on Trip Advisor reviews in the future.

There wasn't anything exceptional about the hotel or the stay, except the pool. There is a pool. Everything, including the pool, seemed in good condition. They left us in peace (I left the do not disturb sign on the door) and collected the garbage we left outside the room (in trash bags). We were able to check in early when a room was available, that was a plus. We used the pool, which was actually quite nice now that I think about it. There were two decks with table and chairs. No kiddie pool. 3 and 4-foot deep water. The curtains in the room were very effective at keeping out light (this seems hotel-standard). They provided a crib for our son - very firm mattress, the crib.

We booked our room for a week in July back in March, at $1100+. We received our emails from Booking.com and Paypal saying it was paid in full. Fast forward to July, drive several hundred miles and we're at the front desk. My fiancé shows them our reservation and email saying it is paid in full. The women at the desk say it isn't. So we get ahold of Booking.com and Paypal and have them forward further proof all payments went through and our reservation was confirmed. Nope, both women said we weren't paid up. Neither bothering to call a manager or get it figured out on their end. Now we are to the point of calling Best Western Customer service and amazingly a manager just appears out of nowhere. The manager agrees that we are paid up and have a room reserved. Worst front desk service I've ever had. I ask for a discount because of the absolute load of BS we had to put up with and the unprofessional behavior of their front desk. Can't be done because we used Booking.com. But they'll upgrade us. Sure, sounds good. Upgrade came with a leaky tub because it isn't level. (Room 130) Awesome upgrade. TLDR Bad front desk service and coordination with booking website. Room 130 has a leaky tub surround and using a third party site will keep them from giving you a discount/refund of any kind. Housekeeping was fine.

We appreciate your review. Upon looking further into your reservation, it was an error upon booking.com not the hotel. The reservation had been originally sent over as unpaid reservation. Booking.com had just recently began offering prepaid reservations, during the time period in which you booked. Therefore, during this period an error must of occurred. However, I cannot speak on behalf of booking.com. Since you paid booking.com and not us, that is why we could not offer you a discount. I do apologize that our upgrade solution was not satisfactory for you. We will be using the feedback you gave us to implement improvements to ensure we offer a better experience for guests in the future. - Sam FDM

Everything was clean, rooms were cozy and spacious. Staff was friendly. Location was good for tourist, only being about ten minutes from most attractions. Would recommend staying here. Breakfast was still offered as a grab bag in the morning (due to covvid) wifi and coffee were available 24/7.

There is only a small refridgerator in each room. There are microwave for your use all the time. They are located on the main level near the lobby in the breakfast room. Coffee and tea is also available all the time.
Not at all. Quiet even for a light sleeper like me.
