The staff at the hotel were very professional. The room however (room 114) had a hole in the floor where the water from the shower was flowing out. This led to a very strong mold smell in the bathroom and room. Also the shower head leaked at the bottom making the problem worse. They gave me a new room, but the new room's shower head also leaked at the bottom and sprayed into the bathroom. Also, the room was very small to accommodate a king size bed. The buffet needs some attention also. The cereal was Coco Puffs, Fruit Loops and Frosted Flakes. Not exactly suited for adults. Perhaps some adult cereal and oatmeal packets might help. The final straw came Friday night when several families checked in after midnight. The whole room shook from running and screaming children and adults. I thought there was a herd of elephants arriving. It kept up for hours and made my ride home very challenging since I had lost so much sleep.…
We stay here when we go over shopping. The staff are very nice and the rooms are always clean and comfortable. The price is also very good. We always get a mini king room but they have larger family rooms. Would recommend this hotel without hesitation. Coffee in room and continental breakfast. There is also a pool.
I stayed at this hotel on several occasions. Thats why i am so upset that i received a phone call after check out. That there was a pillow missing from the room. I returned call to be told two pillows were missing. Why in the world would i want to steal two pillows from a motel. The cleaning person was by the room when i left. Also the have cameras taking footage. I suggested to the owners daughter that they check footage to see that me and my husband had no pillows when we left. I will never stay at this hotel again. Its in a great location. But i would rather pay more and dont have to worry about being called a theft. Without proof before you call and accuse. Stay away its not worth it
This is an old school style motel that has been upgraded to a nice modern look. The rooms are small but very clean which for us, is more important than some of the dirty name brand hotels we've stayed at. The bathroom with shower is large and very clean. We had a king size bed which was very comfortable. The location is excellent if you're there for outlet shopping or for visiting Niagara Falls and vicinity. There is a separate breakfast room outside of the main office which was very clean and very organized. The continental breakfast was free and included waffles, cereal, bagels, toast and muffins as well as apples and oranges and coffee, tea and juice. Check in was easy and friendly with plenty of area brochures to pick up. We did not use the pool but it also looked very clean. We would definitely stay here again.…
We booked thinking we were getting a HOTEL. But when we pulled up realized it is a MOTEL. I do not like to stay where the doors open up the parking lot. There were sketchy folks loitering around and it just looked like a SEEDY place. It was on a noisy street also. So, I got on the phone and found other accomodations for our stay in Niagara Falls with a chain I am familiar with. No more surprises. I went in and told the guy at the desk we would not be staying there that we had other arrangements. We did not get money back.....but I would not stay there. I can't believe that this place has as many positive ratings as it does. It just did not meet our expectations. I have never done that before - and we are NOT picky people. We take trips on a budget and watch our pennies. But I could NOT compromise our safety and comfort by staying here. After I got home I read the reviews more carefully. If I had done that, I probably wouldn't have booked at all. You live and learn. This was an expensive lesson!!!!!…
