We were only there for one night, and I was very thankful for that. The front desk doesn't even look like a front desk and the staff that work there acted like they would rather be anywhere else than at work. The room was clean and all the items in the room worked well (microwave, coffee maker) and the bed was comfortable. However, the walls were paper thin and I could clearly hear the conversation of the people beside me and the child crying either above or beside me because they didn't want to shower. If you have the choice, I'd suggest staying on the Canadian side of the falls. The hotels are much better, especially for the price we paid.
The rooms are comfortable and location is convenient to the city center to walk around the area. Close enough to the falls and the outlet malls when its raining outside. Just something else to do when the weather is not cooperating.
It was a nice experience to be at the hotel. Well equipped clean room. The only thing I did not like was they hold an amount (75$) earlier and releases later. But they charged me around 19$ from my account after the stay even if I left the room clean and did not destroy the property.
It was a very nice room, clean and smelled fresh.and staff was very friendly!! Best hotel. Breakfast was good.. everything worked in room and shower was hot!! The falls view was amazing and we had great views and we walked to ever attractions.
Great room. Loved the spa tub, the electric fireplace right near the tub. and big king bed. I would definitely recommend it. The staff was very professional and polite. The room was clean and pleasant great view as well
When we opened the door, we noticed socks on the floor, they also didn’t wipe down any surfaces between guest stays, and there were pubic hairs in the shower. Makes me wonder if the bedong was clean?!
We stayed from Friday night till Monday. Check in was fast. Dropped off street level but has stairs down trying to get luggage etc so just know it’s easier to enter on First street no stairs while trying to come inside. Has a small place to purchase drinks which was nice after a long day of travel. The next morning wanted to hit up the mini Starbucks inside but only one person, limited items and just better to go to one elsewhere. Wasn’t opened on Monday. We left early for tour and returned about 5. Decided to order food and waited in bar area. The bar is only open 2 days and has very very few items. Bartender nice but had like one bottle of the like 5 items. Couldn’t make any mixed drinks at all. Shots or canned beer or spritzer. Cooler had maybe 15 products to chose from. So if you decide you want a drink go elsewhere. Bartender said she had asked for even limes, lemons, cranberry or orange juice just to make a few drinks and management said no. She said even mix for whiskey sours would help but they say no. We were in room 413 and towards street and heard non stop helicopter loud rides every about 15 minutes so not peace and quiet. All day until evening time. The floor carpet needs cleaning see photos. They have a pattern in main hallway but photos were by our door area. Could hear people in other rooms so not well insulated. This hotel was book night night with tons of kids like in a competition so they ran up and down hallways and banged on doors. Lobby area was super loud. We waited for our grub hub in bar and kids were yelling and cursing in area while their parents gathered in lobby and drank. Check out was fast. They will also charge $75 security also just in case you want to know that. Refunded at check out which is fine but in case you need to plan. Rooms were nice but hotel overall under staffed, lack of normal amentities and not well made for quiet get away.…
We stayed here for a hockey tournament and booked well over 20 rooms. Pictures are NOTHING like the actual rooms - they smelled terrible of mold/mildew and were not at all updated or clean. The restaurant/bar was closed all weekend. Parking was UNBELIEVABLE - we had to park in a dark abandoned lot across the street behind a old abandoned hotel. They refused any late check out at all. Staff was rude when we approached them about all of these issues. We will NEVER stay here again.
The staff was fantastic. 8th Floor Room is a must! Walking distance to the American side of the falls and also to the bridge to Canada. Would have tried Rainbow Helicopters across the street but RH made me wait until others showed up and they never did. Too bad.
I give 4 starts because of the price, its location, staff and cleanliness. We got a good deal and its a nice place to stay in. Clean and the rooms are nice. Food options might be an issue because of the restaurant schedule and the strarbucks getting crowded in the morning. Elevators are an issue if you come out at the same time as everyone else, but if you are ok waiting or using the stairs like us is not a big deal. Parking is limmited and charged for. The fridge on the rooms is one of those weird ones that turns off automatically.
