Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to stay. Located in a depressed town where everything closes at nine pm. This place is dumpy with paper thin walls, I could hear everything going on in adjacent rooms to side and above. Unprofessional management. If going to Gore, better to stay somewhere else and drive in for the day, nothing... More

I'm not sure you really stayed here- we are in the Adirondacks. There is only new furniture (in an Adirondack motif) and super comfy beds with upscale linen and towels. We guarantee the furniture in all the rooms is the new furniture in the pictures on the website. North Creek is a small town but has several unique shops, and... More

We stayed here because it was close to gore mt. It was beautifully decorated adirondack style . Queen bed and a twin. Bathroom nice everything very clean. Smelled like new pine wood. Which may have been the ceilings. A little high In price. The room is a bit tight in size. But still worth it. Beds very comfortable. I'm staying... More

Glad you enjoyed the Alpine Lodge. Our Standard Twin/Double is a very small room. Because of the proximity of the river and local building codes- we were confined to the existing foot print when we renovated. There are rooms that are larger; the Standard King, the Deluxe Doubles and the Luxury Kings are larger. The kitchen suites are very nice... More

We searched for a log cabin rental to complete our Ski weekend getaway. Although no log cabins were available we came across the Alpine lodge, which has the internal design of a modern lodge/cabin to give us the cabin experience we were looking for. We stayed in the Eagle's Nest. It was cleaner than any hotel we've stayed in with... More

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at the Alpine Lodge. We are close to the lifts at Gore, but it is nice to be on the Main Street of North Creek- perfect to walk around to restaurants, bars, shops, grocery and more! Hope to see you again! More

We stayed here for a few nights in December to do some skiing at Gore. The place was conveniently located just a few minutes from Gore, with a few small restaurants, a pizza place, a deli, and a grocery store all within a block. The room was spacious, the decor was rustic, and we were comfortable. The negatives included the... More

Your "Luxury King" Room with a jaccuzzi and gas "wood-stove" at $239/night is our most luxurious room. The room rates do range from $159-239 including Continental Breakfast. It is indeed a 2-person jaccuzzi- much longer, wider and deeper than a regular size bath tub. I am very sorry you found it smaller than expected. I take your comment on "privacy"... More

Our family stayed 2 nights at The Alpine Lodge in North Creek. Extremely clean, well decorated and the manager was very friendly and helpful. Location was excellent - a step away from great restaurants and a quick few minutes to Gore Mountain. Walls are pretty thin though, so if you're a noisy bunch, you have to keep it down after... Thank you for your review. We agree our location is perfect to enjoy apres ski in North Creek. We did have oblivious parents not supervising their rambunctious children for a couple of nights- they will not be returning. Our apologies that it affected your experience. More

Have stayed numerous times due to location (near family) - this could be so much better. Have stayed in regular rooms, and the 2 BR suite. The main floor rooms are VERY noisy in the mornings - snow plows and other traffic on road in front, families packing for skiing at 630 am, kids running around. I understand all that,... More

So sorry to find that you find us sub-par- we strive to exceed ours guests expectations. I personally prefer a big king-size bed (with the 4 star linens) - no matter the size of the room. But the bedrooms in Eagles Nest are small. The fireplace we replaced in October was a nightmare and we actually went through the winter... More

Alpine Lodge is clean, so close to the mountain and right in the wee downtown of North Creek, allowing you to walk down to Bar Vino apres ski, or up to Sarah's for some truly great morning breakfast or take your pick of a few spots to grab a bite. Neat, clean hotel. Good location. Show me the hot water? There was none. Barely warm. When we approached the manager, all he said was "I guess I have to turn it up." Yeah, I would say you do.
