We've stayed in several different game lodges over the years in South Africa. This was definitely one of the best, from the rooms, the lodge, the game drives and the food - it was 5 star all the way. The chef was kind enough to give me wife a recipe she asked about. The game driver, Michael, was spectacular and... More

From the moment we were collected at the gate to when we were taken back 3 days later, we were so well looked after and made to feel extremely comfortable. All the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. A beautiful lodge with stunning views. Our guide, Michael, deserves special praise for his incredible knowledge on all our... More

Even though Nedile could only fit us in for one night due to being fully booked it was well worth the drive to get there. A charming cluster of just 5 individual rustic chalets situated along the crest of a ridge with stunning views. Anneke and Michael made us feel really special and could not of been more helpful. Intimate... More

Stayed here a couple of times and referred family and friends as well. Always enjoy my stay. It is luxury but it does not feel over the top. Staff is knowledgeable and great! Loveling the outdoor showers and of course the game drives. Food is amazing as well, home-made bread etc. It is about 3,5 hours from Johannesburg so very... More

A good 4 hours drive from Jo-Burg, in a very nice landscape, you will find the Welgevonden Game Reserve. The Nedile Lodge is on the west side of the Reserve and you have to drive around the area. The Lodge is on top of a hill and has a fantastic view. As it is not too big, only 5 rooms,... More

This is a lovely relaxed bush resort, with beautiful views over the Waterberg and Welgevonden Game reserve. Our trip was made special by the excellence of our guide Michael, and the very attentive staff. We saw 4 of the "big five" and had some extraordinary elephant encounters.

The location of the lodge, the knowledgeable and thoughtful Ranger, Mike, the warmth and service of all the staff, the great food, the 5 star accommodation, and the great sightings of the animals, including 4 of the big five on many occasions, all made our stay such a memorable experience. It is somewhere I have no hesitation in recommending for... More

If I wrote how much I have been amazed and impressed by the experience on the game drives, cleanliness of the accommodation, food and attentiveness of staff members, this would be a very long post. To put simply everything about Nedile Lodge has completely surpassed my expectations and seen as I have wanted to go on an African Safari all... More
