This campsite is in the most beautiful picturesque setting. We have a riverside pitch (d13) and it's wonderful. The river is fun to float down on inflatables, the ducks are regular visitors and there are no mosquitos! There are a number a washrooms, all very clean and perfect to shower and change in. There are toilets with seats and plenty...

We'll start with a disclaimer that I don't really like camping and am a bit picky on certain items. Like toilets... And not having to queue up for basic bodily functions and then sharing them with complete strangers. As far as location, you couldn't find anywhere better - on an island in the River Dordogne on the edge of the...

Am currently enjoying my stay at the campsite despite the worst few weeks of June rain anyone could expect. The nearby Dordogne is pretty impressive. Still the site has a natural feel to it, but with bar, euro football and swimming pool if you want them. The washroom and general facilities are very good. The town is beautiful, not over commercialised,...

A lovely campsite in a gorgeous setting. Book a pitch near the river. Staff very helpful and friendly. The village is lovely as are the surrounding towns and villages. Lovely unspoilt countryside. Early in the year it is full of old codgers.

We've just returned from a week long stay in a pre pitched wood and canvas tent.. and thought it was wonderful! Any problems that have been mentioned in previous years are no longer the case.. I think this may be because the campsite has become part of the Indigo group, but I can assure you, there is now plenty of...

Personally we though some of the previous remarks slightly over the top but I suppose that is a matter of opinion. We have just returned after spending an excellent week at the end of June. The riverside pitches that we and our friends booked were beautiful, it all made for a chill out holiday and you'll love the ducklings who...

Had the pleasure of camping here in the lovely June heatwave. The surroundings matched the weather. Had lovely wanders around the town; plenty of amenities and sights to take in. Friendly staff and a beautiful riverside spot, what more could you want.

This site has a unique location on an island in the river. The town is stunning as are a few others in the region, in particular Collonges La Rouge. The pool was well kept. The facilities superb, clean and filled all our needs. The staff were friendly and polite. Cannot fault this site

Good facilities, clean, spacious and very comprehensive service. However, if you want somewhere with a bit of character and a connection with nature this isn't the place. With a large aqua park and most campers driving 4x4s this is the high end of camping. I'm just not used to seeing people on a campsite going to the showers in silk...

I originally chose this site because it seemed to have everything we looked for in a family caravanning holiday in France-next to a river, short stroll into a village and great swimming facilities. All of these were true but there were certain elements that resulted in an opinion that we would never return. Firstly the good bits-it's easy to locate,...
