The hotel was high above my expectations. The location is the best in Etreta. the view on the town is stil in my dreams. the staff are polite and professional. The breakfast is better than in some 5* hotels- huge choice of pastries, yougurts, cheese and even omelettes.

View is breathtaking from the outside terrace. Drinks are expensive but the service, view and little bar snacks make up for it. Etretat is a pretty, peaceful town and good for a bank holiday weekend. We stayed in the standard room which was good value, big with a mini bar but no air con which made it difficult to sleep....

Recommend highly - we had the "directoire" room with sea view and it was worth the extra money to go to sleep and wake up with an absolutely perfect view of the beach and rock formations. It's only a 5 min walk down a private path to town and parking is free (a big benefit as Etretat is very popular...

We stopped there for at the end of the afternoon for a cool drink. The place was a little busy with a small party going in a corner of the terrace. Obviously understaffed, no one noticed us for more than 20 min! My wife went inside to order but was told by the barman that he was too busy! I...

Pleasant seaside hotel with good rooms and marvellous view. It would have been perfect if the hotel had not organised a wedding reception - taking over the terrace in the process. No noise that night but a gaggle of lairies at breakfast so rather a shame. Best then to check first if you choose a weekend to come.

This tip was given to us by a local , and was gold in the middle of French summer holidays. Parking was easy and we headed off fora spectacular cliff sided walk after lunch. Lunch was inside but there is also the option to dine in the garden . Either way , you are presented with a lovely view of...

The location on the hillside above the bay in Etretat offers an awesome natural scenery. When booking a room you should insist on sea view, its absolutely worth! The rooms are large and nicely and comfortable furnished. Infrared lamp in the bathroom! The welcome was very friendly and professional. The terrace in front of the bar merges into the garden...

The hotel might be a bit old fashioned but this makes it so charming. In Etretat everything is a bit out of date, therefore we think this hotel is the perfect place to be. The views are spectacular, the restaurant is excellent and the service is outstanding. Moreover, it is extremely peaceful and quiet. The only thing one can hear...

Overall I would recommend and come back to this hotel, but the prices are a bit high, specially for the meals and breakfast is not included. The views are amazing, the food is very good, the restaurant offers a great dinner menu with a gorgeous view of the falaise. The room is spacious and comfortable. The decoration is nice, although...

Overall I would recommend this place simply for the stunning view and excellent restaurant. The hotel itself is comfortable if a little dated in decor in places. It's not a super flash boutique hotel but rather a good hotel in a jaw dropping location which could do with a bit of a make-over. However, I'd say its worth staying simply...
