We stayed in the Lavender suite: absolutely exceptional. The suite is large enough, well maintained, spotless, comfortable bed, with equipped kitchen and a terrace overlooking the caldera. On the terrace there is a hot tub with always clean water that is perfect for two and allows you to enjoy the view along with the bubbles. They serve you breakfast directly in your room (or on the terrace), 5 minutes after you request it with your internal phone. The (very crowded) center of Oia is a few minutes walk away. The location of the suite is great for tranquility and privacy. A few meters away there is also a market and a motorcycle and scooter rental. It costs a lot but it's worth a lot.

My husband and I stayed here, in the Olive Suite, for 4 nights. We couldn’t recommend this place enough, everything was so perfect and exceeded our expectations. The view is truly breathtaking and the room is full of Santorini character. The location is ideal, not too many steps to climb and close to the main areas/restaurants/supermarket yet far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. We didn’t have hoards of people walking past. Despina, the host is so friendly and knowledgable we enjoyed chatting to her daily. The room was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was plentiful and fresh. Sitting with a coffee at breakfast on the caldera will be a lifelong memory for me. You will be very well looked after here, this place is a small slice of heaven!

We stayed in the Daphne Villa which had a large, very comfortable bed and a sofa bed in the lounge area. There was also a kitchen area with a kettle, coffee machine and fridge. Toiletries are also supplied in the bathroom.
Outside, we had a large terrace with plunge pool and a table and chairs where we had breakfast every morning.
Breakfast was brought to our terrace. Just dial 0 on the phone and they will ask what type of eggs you would like and what you would like to drink. So much more comes with the eggs, which will Set you up for the day.
The views are absolutely stunning and the villas are situated in a quiet part of the caldera away from the crowds.
There is a supermarket a few steps away and the start of the main area is about a five minute walk away.
The staff are the friendliest most helpful we have ever experienced. Thank you so much.

Im sitting on the roof terrace of the Jasmin suite taking in the last bit of heaven before we depart for rainy England. The Onar Villas in OĂa are truly exceptional! They are located slightly out of the main tourist area just by a couple of minutes walk. This is brilliant as you don’t suffer all the crazy crowds waiting to see the famous sunset but it’s the most beautiful location with amazing views across the caldea. The villa itself is a traditional cave villa and had everything you could possibly need however the real star of the show is the roof terrace (see photo)
Breakfast is fantastic and served to your terrace.
Service; again just brilliant! The little team that look after you could not be more friendly and helpful. They work so hard to make your stay memorable.
There is also so much too see in Santorini, the Onar team pointed us in the direction of the car hire place and we went exploring - I would recommend this as we were able to see most of the island and visited several great beaches.
I would never normally feel compelled to write a review but Onar Villas are another level!

The staff were amazing. The lady who runs the hotel(I forget her name) gave us so many amazing recommendations for food, exploring, traveling etc. She made us feel right at home in her villas. It is a short 5-10 minute walk into the heart of oia but well worth the stay. We stayed in the lily double room and it had a beautiful hot tub overlooking the caldera and was close to the top of the mountain so not as many steps to walk up and down! I would recommend Onar villas to my friends and family in a heartbeat.

It is a beautiful property with breathtaking Caldera Views. It's couple of mins from the famous marble road and hence we enjoyed the quiet and peace as well. Hospitality was commendable. The host recommended and booked restaurants and cruises ahead of our stay (given that July gets quite busy). Billie and Alma provided delicious breakfast every morning, well arranged at the balcony with amazing views. I have no negatives about Onar Villa. We had a very comfortable stay.

We visited santorini in early August 2021 although originally had booked it for 2020 and from the get go, Sophia was so accommodating with us changing our dates due to Covid. When we did finally arrive, the villa is absolutely breathtaking. The views are absolutely phenomenal and you couldn’t ask for anything more. We stayed in the daphne villa and on our terrace we had room for a table and chairs, two huge beanbags and a jacuzzi big enough for 2 people. The room was beautifully decorated, a huge bed, separate sofa and table and a lovely shower. In terms of location, it’s a 5 min walk into the center of oia which was perfect for us as we didn’t want to be in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. Every morning billy and alma would bring us the most fantastic breakfasts to eat on the terrace and enjoy the views. I honestly couldn’t rate this place any better, it’s a little slice of heaven!

Staying at Onar Villas was a dream come true. The location is unbeaten with panoramic views of the Caldera from our balcony yet, a short 3 min walk into town. There's a market up the stairs and the bus/taxi stand is right up the stairs as well. We would sit in the hot tub in awe overlooking the water and the caldera. We had a true complete and outstanding breakfast on the balcony every morning brought to our balcony by our amazing hosts Alma and Billie. These two are what really made our stay so enjoyable. Billie and Alma were so accommodating with our requests, helping book our car transports, bringing our breakfast early so we can catch our ferry, helping my husband surprise me with champagne and roses. They truly went above and beyond and make you feel so welcomed. Billie also offered to take pictures of us and the view for breakfast and sure knows all the angles. We have nothing but great memories
