Warning for people who are looking for privacy!!!
There is no privacy in this hotel. None! We stayed in 2 rooms - one the deluxe suite which is the most expensive one who has a jacuzzi on the roof and one, the senior suite who has windows with caldera view. Both of them were turning to the main road where starting at 7 in the morning you have tourists passing by, taking pictures with the view. Since the rooms are street level, when you open the windows the people walking by see right through your windows! You don’t get to see the view. You get to see Tourists looking at you! Also, the jacuzzi and all the rest of the outdoor small “private” pools are all next to each other on the lobby floor. It feels so strange to get in while other guests and the staff walking by all the time since it’s located in front of the entrance of the rooms.
The hotel pool is tiny and has only 4 pool chairs which means low chances you get to use it.
The pics in the website are misleading.

Having said that, the location of the hotel is amazing, the view ( behind the tourist passing by ) is breathtaking and the staff was so kind and really did everything to make sure we are happy and comfortable. Especially the beautiful women at the reception ( blonde with blue eyes ) who was so attentive and professional!

Beautiful hotel situated just enough out to not feel like you are in amongst the crowds but a short stroll to the centre of Fira.

Breakfast was delicious and felt they listened to everything we wanted and needed to make our stay perfect.

It was quite a last minute booking only stayed for one night before we went to Oia.

Stupidly didn’t read that our room we booked didn’t have a balcony with the view so we were very kindly moved to the honeymoon suite which sadly still didn’t have a balcony but had a big window with a view and indoor hot tub. Still very grateful to be moved.

As a tip if you coming in peak hot season in the summer make sure you book a room with a balcony with a hot tub outside as all the other rooms in our opinion really didn’t seem that special for the price they were and the location you are in.

WOW! We had the most amazing week staying at Mythical Blue. Not only are the grounds and rooms beautiful, it has THE BEST view in all of Fira, if not the entire island. In fact, many people would gather outside the hotel to take photos of the breathtaking view. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and always went out of their way to make our stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. My wife forgot her curling iron voltage converter and the staff went scouring through the Fira markets to find her one. The free breakfast is among the best we have had at any hotel, and you can customize it to your liking every day, including choosing from a menu of freshly made coffee drinks and various fresh juices. The staff went out of their way to serve us breakfast with some of the most spectacular views of Santorini. Another highlight was the incredible fresh juice they made! My wife is pregnant and cannot take alcohol so the staff would make her different fresh juice concoctions throughout her stay. The best part was that all non alcoholic drinks were absolutely free! We were also able to seamlessly book a catamaran cruise through the hotel who also arranged all transfers for us. At the end of the week, the staff all came to say goodbye and told us they were sad to see us go! You could tell they were being 100% genuine, and the truth was, that we were sad to leave them as well. Please do yourself a favor and stay at Mythical Blue: the beauty, the staff, the incredible location, and of course the juice all make it more than worth it!

The location is amazing and the hotel looks fantastic in places. But they very much let the location do the talking as the service is quite frankly awful, it actually felt like Fawlty towers at times. The staff will prefer to sit around rather than servicing their guests, as there are only 12 or so rooms it should not be difficult to offer exceptional customer service if they wanted to, especially as they advertise as ‘luxury suites’. There was one guy who seemed to do all things catering whilst everyone else watched him, help him out guys it will only help you. The food is also terrible, after a long journey we wanted a meal and was told you can only have pizza or salad…….really? The evening menu is also very limited with two starters and three mains. Very limited and the quality and taste was shocking for the money. You’re much better booking meals outside of the hotel. We asked for a bottle of wine and were told they will see if they have it and could offer us a more expensive one if they don’t have it. They only had three bottles on the menu so was confused why they didn’t have the three bottles stocked seeing as this is the prime holiday season for Santorini. The restaurant is on the rooftop which has exceptional views but lacked atmosphere, no music, slow service (one waiter) and like previously said not very good food, we also saw two out of the five tables there walk out because they had to wait too long. I think it’s been said before but there is minimal privacy in the rooms with everyone being able to see everything you do including the many passers by outside the hotel, we also didn’t have any view at all which was frustrating. Breakfast was also a huge let down, the breakfast advertised on instagram looks fresh and luxurious but this is not the case at all. Generally their social media doesn’t reflect the reality of the hotel. Very cheap produce and little taste and variety. Poached eggs with avocado, the avocado had been spooned from a pre made pot and was very sparse. For the amount you have to pay to stay here I would highly recommend avoiding at all costs unless the only thing that is important to you is the location.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying in Suite 5 at Mythical Blue in Santorini for a week for our Honeymoon in early October 2021 (it was a Senior Suite with Outdoor Heated Plunge Pool & Indoor Hot Tub).

From the moment we arrived, the staff couldn't have been more helpful and did a great job of looking after us throughout the entire week.

The breakfast was great, the cocktails were great, the facilities are great and the location and view are literally out of this world.

We booked trips with the help of Erica (Catamaran tour and wine tasting) which were both fantastic, we were even given a spare room to use for our final day as our flight wasn't until 23:30, nothing was too much trouble for all of the staff and we had a great time.

Booked this hotel as a last minute deal. Never regreded that. This is a reason why we love to share with you our vacation story. To say that it was just great, can say nothing. This was our second visit to Santorini and I'm already plotting our next trip. !t was really good, more than good. Just fabulous. The staff, the breakfast, lunch and the bar. Fresh food, fresh fruits; The staff starts from the amazing person the lady manager, with a big letters, the recepetionists, housekeeping very well organized, clean rooms. The breakfast! This is a second factor why we want back, because simply delicious. For us this hotel was most secure place on the planet Earth and we felt like we are at home ♥

It’s an amazing place , location but the staff are the best. If you want to be in the best location but still feel private then this is it 🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️ I love it when everything works and this place truly looks after you. Not really for children but couples and friends amazing.

We booked a night at the Mythical Blue after an unfortunate experience with another hotel on the island. The staff at the MB are fantastic. They made sure we were happy with our stay and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Our room was spacious, and well organized. The food was excellent. Because our ferry back to Athens left hours after checkout, they told us to stay in the eating area and made sure we had food and drinks while we waited for the transfer bus to take us to the port. From the minute we walked into the reception area to the time we left, we experienced a truly five-star hotel experience. Thank you for an unforgettable experience.

This is my 2nd time visiting santorini, and the second time in santorini where an air bnb has cancelled at the last second, so I found this hotel 3 days before arriving. I had booked the suite with the plunge pool facing the infamous view of santorini from the top of the caldera. Though the suite was very beautiful and spacious, including 2 showers, 2 toilets, 2 sinks, with a private indoor spa, the outdoor plunge pool was not so private. The staff was very welcoming & kind with me, they helped me carry my luggage up the hill to my room. Breakfast was very good every morning. But once your get to your suite, you can see 3 other rooms with their plunge pool / hot tub in a shared patio area. And my specific plunge pool had a view…. With 100 people per second passing by me up and down the path and looking at me in my plunge pool. It was a bit embarrassing because people would comment “wow looks like a nice view from there” since I had so many tourists walking by my door as the window of my plunge pool was facing one of the main paths going up the hill that everyone walks up & down from. I enjoyed my stay the only problem - if you’re a light sleeper, please bring ear plugs. People are talking and screaming all night long, as the big room is facing one of the main paths. I enjoyed my experience very much but I think I would get a more private suite next time or stay somewhere that is quieter and more private.

We booked the Senior Suite. Lovely Cave style room.
The hotel is great. It’s a 5 min walk from the shops and restaurants in Fira. It’s located in a pedestrian pass road by the caldera going down from the main road. The rooms and amenities are nice and it’s definitely a different feel than a typical hotel because they are “cave rooms”. The view from the common area is worth going to Santorini.
The staff is fantastic helpful . The reception ( Mike , Andro-mahi) and Erica the manager took care of us from the minute we arrived. Everyday they would ask what we had planned, and help make whatever that was easier for us. Arrange a car, book a reservation, etc…The Pools side guys ( Panos and Costas ), thanks for delicious drinks. Generally speaking the hotel is very well organized and clean. Overall, it’s a wonderful experience.
The view and the staff are 10/10. Also it’s mostly couples, honeymoon, babymoon, romantic vibes.
Special thanks to Erica and her team taking care about us!
