On arrival at Blue Suites (sister hotel) to collect the keys for the suite, we were told its 80 metres up the road! No clear directions such as “go to your right and walk until you arrive at the T -Junction, turn right and it’s the white building on the left the sign is about knee high”! Instead it took us 10min to find it in 35 deg c heat! The room was nice and clean and the outside jacuzzi very inviting but all this was overshadowed by the continued bad service (coupled with an aggressive dog who shared the reception desk) and the breakfast was simply horrible!

Before we arrived we emailed Blue Suites several days prior for the purposes of booking a transfer. When we arrived at the airport there was no transfer and we had to catch a taxi costing 30 euros. When we arrived at check in we asked the hotel manager on reception why the transfer didn't arrive and showed him the email. He shrugged his shoulders and all of a sudden his ability to speak English deteriorated. We were then taken to our room and travelled 3 flights of stairs with our luggage in scorching beautiful weather. When we got to the top my suitcase nudged the door open and the hotel manager became aggressive and shouted be careful. This was a 20kg bag up three flights of stairs without any help which merely touched the door. A door that had no door stop on the other side which was perhaps part of the problem in the first place. We paid £680 for 7 nights for a room including an outdoor jacuzzi. The jacuzzi itself was covered in dead flies and because we forgot to bring a net to scoop these out we asked the hotel reception if they could provide a net and we could clean it ourselves. By day 3 along with 3 separate visits to the reception we managed to find a shop selling fish nets and bought one for 10 euros to clear out the tub. By day 5 there was still no acknowledgement or follow up from the hotel albeit we had now been using the jacuzzi for 2 days. The hotel manager then came up this morning and shouted at us for using the jacuzzi excessively. At this stage we were fed up and asked for his name and pretty much what his problem was. His response was you are in Greece we don't have names here. Unsure of what this meant we just ignored him. A few minutes later he came back up to ask how much longer we would be staying here knowing full well it was a 7 day booking. We don't normally write a review until our stay is complete having travelled to various places for the last 25 years. This chap either doesn't like his job or British tourists perhaps even both. You only have to look at other peoples reviews about this hotel to see that this place is to be avoided. We saw the ratings for Blue Suites and instead booked at A&G suites not realising it was part of the same chain.A real shame as the hotel room itself and the cleaning staff have been fantastic. Hotel sites really need to review and consider whether they want to act as agents on behalf of this hotel.

So we were a bit worried about visiting having seen some of the negative reviews. But I have to say I shouldn’t have worried at all.we organised our transfer with the hotel and someone was waiting when we landed. The accommodation in the suites was lovely (we stayed in the sun rise suite). It was cleaned daily with fresh towels provided and we also had a daily visit from the jacquizzi man. The room and balcony are very quiet and private. It’s in an ideal location to walk to Fira and just opposite the room is a quad/moped rental shop. Additionally the hotel blue suites where you initially check in also allows you to use the pool since its part of the same hotel so although check out is at 11am we were able to lounge around the pool until our transfer. All of the staff we encountered were friendly especially the lady on reception, sorry I don’t know her name but I know her daughter also works at the hotel.

My partner and I stayed here in June 2018 for eight days. After reading some of the reviews I became very concerned as our holiday approached but I am pleased to say we had a fantastic time and the room was beautiful for the price. We didn’t have any issues with staff and actually found them very friendly. It’s in a great location and I would definitely return.

This is by far the worst property I’ve ever stayed at.

1) Genius discounts are not applicable even though, in confirmation of reservation is says welcome drink, and they also offer shuttle. None of this was offered … You check in at a different hotel and then go to the suites…
2) I booked the room as it specifically said it was coming with a hot tub, and the luxury of having bathrobes and slippers …. NOT TRUE. None of this is applicable. There is a terrace with 4 lounge chairs shared between 4 rooms and 2 outside tubs with freezing water (apparently what they consider the “hot tub”) Upon my check in I asked the manager Kosmas how does the water get hot as I wanted to use the “Hot tub” right away, and he said it doesn’t it stays like this. Not to mention that from the chemicals they put in the water is disgusting as per the picture I will attach. I called booking.com and explained that I feel I was lied to as the property is advertising wrong information to us and asked for partial refund. They called Kosmas and they agreed to offer breakfast at no cost for the inconvenience. On day 3 I decided to go for breakfast and when I asked what seemed to be the owner and his wife at reception where is the breakfast area they told me I had to pay 10 Euro. I explained the situation and agreement with booking and they told me that they do not agree with this and if I want breakfast I need to pay. Needless to say it got me mad so I called booking.com again. In the meantime, the lady at the reception had changed the description of the room amenities and was playing it cool by asking me that there is no such thing listed in the rooms. And currently you will not find it any more in the description, but unfortunately for them I had taken print screen on the general description and the confirmation I have since it was printed before my arrival has these details. The engine of the bath tub was inside the room and it was terribly noisy, the fridge was super noisy as well.
3) On day 4, the gentleman who seemed to be the owner, without knocking on my door unlocked my room at 21:30 by mistake of course thinking the room was empty. Needless to say, that for a traveler who stayed there alone I was in shock. The next day when I went to reception he was arrogant saying “I asked for apologies, what else do you want” … never encountered more arrogant and with attitude human being. When I mentioned again the hot tub, he then explained to me that it can get hot, but it costs them 50 euro or something like that so I will have to call him when I want to use it. Are you kidding me? I have to call you, because you are cheap and cheating on the people staying? After he explained this to me, the next day they had put the above-mentioned chemicals so the tub smelled and it was greasy, obviously so I don’t call them to use it.
4) When I asked for the shuttle service as I was explained on day one I can use, they told me they will have to call me a cab for which I was told I will pay 15 Euro and they I ended up paying 20. And as a genius member we should have these offered for free, and they do have shuttle service. Probably my early flight at 6:40 was not convenient for them to wake up …
5) There was nobody at the reception at almost all times, so you had to call them on your own cost. Just terrible service and disappointing.
6) It was a terrible experience and, please avoid at all costs. These people are there to take your money and cheat on you.

If you are booking room in this beautiful hotel, and you are thinking that you have got a very good deal in less price. YOU ARE WRONG. Let me tell you, they have multiple properties, each cheaper than other. So they will book you for A&G suites and then will make you stay in cheaper one. Basically they CHEAT people.

I paid to stay here. But when I was about to board the flight from Athens to Santorini, I was informed by management that the paid accommodation was not available.

They claimed that they had a plumbing problem and suggested that I stay in another accommodation outside the town. I had to accept it so as not to run the serious risk of being homeless and without the money I paid.

They put me up in a luxurious apartment, but very far from everything, from which you can only reach Fira by car, and without the features that I valued most in what I actually paid for. The owners of the accommodation live in the same house, with the accommodation separated from their home only by an interior door, with everything being heard from one side to the other.

As if that weren't enough, there was a small surveillance camera connected inside the accommodation! Fortunately, I realized in time and climbed onto a bench to reach it and turn it off.

When I went to check the satellite and street view images on Google maps, to my great surprise, I realized that the supposed accommodation advertised cannot even be located in the indicated location, since the facades of the buildings there are completely incompatible with the photos presented on Booking .

Booking, in view of the evidence, tried to recover my money, but informed me that the owners refused to make the refund.

Only later did I realize that there were other very similar cases reported in these reviews. Isn't it a coincidence... or does the plumbing only break down when guests are about to arrive?
My vacation was almost completely ruined. I feel cheated.
