Okay, so it isn’t the Ritz-Carlton, but We had a 9 day stay here for what they’d charge for just one. Betty looked after us for our whole stay. The place is kept spotlessly clean and they genuinely couldn’t be more helpful. It’s just a short walk into town; but far enough to be away from the noise. For a budget hotel, it’s hard to fault this place

Pros:
- 10 minutes walking to the centre.
- Strong shower rain
- Reliable receptionist (did not have any hair dryer upon arrival in my room and I reported it. The staff brought it to the following day.

Cons:
- Air-cinditioner does not work during summer time.
- Bath room is totally disgusting and gross (mold, rusty bathroom door, dirty floor like it has not been cleaned for ages.)
- There is a fridge in the room but does not work.
- Towels are too dirty. (red colour marks.)
- Very noisy from the bar during 2 AM.
- Bed is too rocky.
- Sometimes, there is no electricity. Especially, night time.

I booked a standard double room from Sunny days hotel Fira through Agoda for one night stay at 18/4 for my Santorini trip. Then I arrived and checked in in the hotel, walked into my from found out they gave me a twin bed room, I then immediately asked for a change, the first staff refused to change and tell me to ask the manager, said the hotel is full. Then the second staff came along, I asked why I can’t change my room, since it is not what I booked, I booked a standard double room and you gave me a twin bed room. He then became very rude and said that he only works there, don’t ask him, ask his manager. So I tried to ask for his manager’s contact, he refused to give me. He literally asked me to suck it up since I only stay for one night. Then I called the phone number that Agoda provided me of the hotel’s contact. I called and a man answered, I asked if he is the hotel’s manager, he said yes, then I tried to tell him what happened, he said don’t talk to me then hang up on me. This is a scam.

We booked a room for 3 but received for 2 whithout any possibly to have extra bed at the first night.
The second night they give us a room with roll way bed but is was so rusty and dirty that i could not sleep there. But the bed experience wasn't the worst. Okay we knew that it is a good deal and we didn't expect something luxury but the cleanness is something very important and believe me the rooms and in general the hotel was very very dirty..

A really great place, well worth your money. Hotel is immaculately clean and the hospitality is amazing. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again next tine we are in Santorini. Had some friendly kittens there as well which was a treat..

Warning ⚠️ avoid it and spend your time and money anywhere else but this
Terrible manager attitude and behaviour, very impolite and rude, doesn't know English and constantly shouting on you before even listening or try to communicate via text at least.
The room wasn't as described, the breakfast was terrible with his smoke smell on it and the coffee was instant coffee and cold with his smoke smell.
I was alone but room had breakfast for 2, so I paid for 2 breakfasts, so I messaged him before arriving and asked a breakfast on arrival and one on checkout, he accepted by email, when by checkout I went for breakfast, he started to shout on me and insulting me front of other guests and kicked me out of the eating area, then he started to talk about me in a bad way with other guests and make fun of me.
I came out of the hotel shaking and shocked. I could not believe such an experience in Santorini and in Greece.
This hotel with his mental manager should be avoided by all travellers.

This is a clean, fresh and recently renovated property in a quiet part of town but an easy walk to the centre of Fira. The owner, Betty was friendly, helpful and welcoming, as were most of the staff. Rooms were cleaned daily.
No reply at all to my emails when I enquired about transfers (the accommodation listing says that they could organise this) and very unhelpful response to the several phone calls I made. Eventually I was informed that it would be easier if we just jumped in a taxi at the airport. When we attired, the gentleman booking us in claimed that our booking was for one room, not the two that we had booked and wouldn't believe us until we showed him the paperwork. We had to apply some pressure to persuade them to put us in some reasonable rooms, with double beds. Breakfast is not up to much. Neither is the pool.

We had an amazing time in Santorini and enjoyed our stay at Sunny Days hotel. Great location, walking distance to the main hub, staff were great and the hotel Manager is really lovely and accommodating.

Myself and my partner stayed here for 7 nights and it was lovely! The rooms are a little on the small size but it’s a home from home. There’s a fridge, kettle and water in the fridge on arrival. We asked for cups so we could make our own tea and Steffi and Betty were more than accomodating. The breakfast is lovely in the morning, tea/coffee and juice, a selection of breads and croissants, cheese, ham, boiled eggs, cucumber, tomato and then Greek yoghurt with fruit after if wanted! More than enough to keep us going until dinner. We sat by the pool a few times when we wanted to relax, we had our own balcony where we made our own cheese boards and relaxed with a beer at night. Gill (sorry if the name is wrong) helped us with our suitcases on arrival, to our rooms and on departure, he keeps the place spick and span and works very hard! Nothing was too much for anyone, Steffi gave us a low down on Santorini & helped us with finding the right bus to get back from Kamari after the open cinema!
We also recommend the restaurant nearby - Pelican Kipos for a romantic meal. The hotel is down hill, by the folklore museum (highly recommend) and about a 15 minute walk into Fira where there is a bus station where the prices range from €1.80-2.50 to get to anywhere in the island. This is a great location and a good price for what you get! Amber and Rose :)
